Yeah, it only proves that writing fanfics is not as easy as it appears to be.

I've never written fan fiction.
My short stories are 9+ pages, and then my really long ones are around 80-100.

I used to be a huge ff geek - writer and reader. I suck at completing anything so I dropped it, I haven't read a fic for ages. If I started writing now, it'd most likely be a satire or a kinda-fantasy novel with megaton of cynism. I love being realistic

^ I will be killing off my main OFC characters in both of mine as well. It's like the only way to really end a the fic. Well, I am sure there are other ways but this is the easiest to me since I actually having them live out their lives until they grow and die. Though it breaks my heart in a way.

I love writing, it truly is a worthwhile past time. Lately I've been quite uninspired though. *sigh* I haven't written anything good in ages..
By the way, I read an article that might interest some of you ladies. As I'm sure many of you know there is a vaccine for cervical cancer out on the market right now. I haven't actually got it yet, as it isn't available where I live [and I'd rather see how it works out with others before getting it myself], but this sort of pertains to it.
Apparently, doctors in the US have come up with a new way of detecting cervical cancer that's painless and a lot easier to administer than say, a pap smear, but here's the problem - the new cancer test is 90 US dollars compared to the usual 10 or 20 dollars for normal pap testing. Ridiculous, eh? But it is life-saving...
Just wanted to share that with you all as I know it may pertain to some of us. If it ever becomes available here I'd definitely go for it.

I haven't written anything in forever... I used to write all the time, and now my muse has left me never to return, I'm afraid. I can't even seem to get a simple hand-in at school to turn out any good... Ohwell, I can always enjoy reading stuff that others have written...

I've not written anything for a while. I just finished my really long story not even a month ago, so that's in the process of editing, and I'm anticipating Nanowrimo so much all I want to do is write for that!

Interesting Lar. I know about the vaccine, but never really looked into it. I suppose that is something I should do.

I dunno.. it'd definitely be a good investment, but I think you have to get several different shots for it to work. Anyway, I'm more interested in this new cervical cancer testing procedure. Pap tests just aren't my thing.. *shudders*

Well, doctors suggest you get one done when your 17 or 18 and then every year after. They screen for cervical cancer and breast cancer at the same time, though it involves some things I'm not comfortable with. Apparently, this new procedure is supposed to be a lot more comfortable and accurate. *shrugs* Probably won't be available for a few more years.

Pap tests aren't really my thing either. I'm pretty uncomfortable about it. I've actually never had one done and should've several years ago but didn't obviously.
