I love Hymns,"O Come,O Come,Emmanuel","Mary Did You Know?","Silent Night""We Three Kings of Oreint Are",most every hymn really.
Of non-hymns,I like "White Christmas","I'll Be Home For Christmas",and others.

my favourite hymn is o little town of bethlehem. the lines "and in the dark streets shineth an everlasting night. the hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight" have always sent shivers down my spine.
my favourite secular christmas song is fairytale of new york. it's distinct lack of merriment and peace may not be terribly festive, but it's still an awesome song. and the penny whistle part is a joy to play.

I'm not a Christmas carol person. At all.
That aside, my definite favorite is "I Won't Be Home for Christmas" by Blink-182 (It's Christmas time again, it's time to be nice to the people you can't stand all year. I'm growing tired of all this Christmas cheer). There's Angel's & Airwaves "Star of Bethlehem", and my huge collection of alternative rock bands (My Chemical Romance, Perl Jam, Jimmy Eat World, etc) doing their take on Christmas.

Mine are:
Good King Wenceslas, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Once in Royal David's City, I Saw Three Ships, The Little Drummer Boy, Deck the Halls, Oh Holy Night, Fairytale of New York, Es ist ein Ros entsprungen (German) and Forunderligt at Sige (Danish)
The Swedish carols I enjoy the most are Bereden Väg För Herran, Advent, Jul Jul Strålande Jul, När Det Lider Mot Jul, Guds Ängel Kom, Gläns Över Sjö och Strand, Nu Tändas Tusen Juleljus, För Redeliga Män, Himlen Hänger Stjärnsvart plus tons more.
You guys should seriously check out Bereden Väg För Herran. It's so wonderful and so very folk-ish! Sissel Kyrkjebø (vocalist on the Titanic soundtrack) does the most divine version of it. Listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tnlzh1kFnrc
It's probably my all-time favorite carol ever!

Original songs (or at least less common ones):
"The Christmas Shoes" (NewSong)
"I Celebrate The Day" (Relient K)
"Breath of Heaven" (Amy Grant)
"All I Really Want For Christmas" (Steven Curtis Chapman)
Traditional songs:
"Silent Night"
"Welcome To Our World"
"Silver Bells"
"Mary Did You Know"
"Jingle Bell Rock"
"Little Drummer Boy"
"I'll Be Home For Christmas"
"Winter Wonderland"
I like Christmas music.

The radio station at work plays X-mas music now, and I get to hear 9 different versions of the same song per day. Not nearly enough of 'Jingle Bell Rock' either. Oh well.

Wow, so many good choices. Does anyone else cry when they hear the Christmas shoes? I do!
I'm exhausted, when I woke up I did babysitting for a 8 year old and 5 year old for 3 hours then went Christmas shopping,(still have alot to do yet), then had my spanish teacher come over and review for a spanish exam! And it is almost midnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
