I guess I'm sort of the opposite here... I much prefer tampons over pads. I just feel weird using pads, they seem so uncomfortable to me! Plus, tampons are easier to carry along with me and all that. I guess it's just personal preference 
About growing pains... I haven't had them in awhile, since I am 18 and I think I'm pretty much done growing now. I used to get horrible pains in my legs, though... especially at night. I'm glad those are over with! _________________ <center> ><>Ringer for Christ<><

Yup, personal preference is all it is methinks. *le nod*
Even now I get pains in my legs that feel like growing pains, but aren't, because I stopped getting taller years ago. I get shaking leg pains after dancing for a long time as well. Not fun at all.

I only remember getting growing pains in my legs, but I'm sure you get them in other places as well. I probably got them in my arms and other places, but I just don't remember [or they weren't painful enough to remember].

Ah I see now. Virgin or not, I would still refuse to use them either way. I am not confortable with it. I don't wish to walk around with something in my body that I just don't think really belongs there, but that's just me.

I agree. *Nods* My mom didnt use tampons til after she was married, and she said they dont hurt near as bad...anywhoo! *Blushes*

Same with me. I've used them since day one and I wish to keep it that way, even though they feel like diapers sometimes. Well, to me they do anyway. I have to use larger ones due to the fact I have a heavily one. Pads are not always confortable and can be a pain to adjust sometimes but I prefer them over tampons any day.

Woo hoo.. menstrual talk. *bounces in* I use pads too.... the reason why I don't use tampons is the same as all of your reasons See, I was going to join the sea cadets, but I decided that joining the army cadets would be a safer thing to do because I'm a girl that refuses to wear tampons... I think you get what I mean.. XD _________________

I'm so glad I never went swimming after the age of 11. I have often wondered what I would do in such cases... and now I know the answer I am doubly glad. XD

Ack! Illness, don't remind me. I actually do get sick while on the menstrual cycle sometimes. I can still use pads/napkins but i mean... it will be easier to use a tampon (because its painful to me right now) after i'm married, because i intend to remain a virgin until my wedding night, and well... my body will just be... 
more used to having....
