My new favorite singer. How do I love him? Let me count the ways...

1. He has a soft, earnest voice - much like Joe Purdy - but with less of a country feel to it.
2. The lyrics are really deep and meaningful, but they still have that every day "ballad" sort of feel about them.
3. He plays a lot of acoustic indie.

Anyway, the guy has stolen my heart. Does anyone else here listen to him (if no, go now! Listen!)

Right now my favorite songs are: For the Widows in Paradise, Seven Swans, and Romulus.

Uh, isn't his name Sufjan Stevens?

Ok, so the only song of his I've listened to is Chicago. Which is awesome. I may have to hear more now.

I know that there are other Sufjan threads, but, I can't seem to find them...so, I'll let this one slide!

Oohh! Sufjan! I love him, I mean, I really really love him....If it was possible to marry music, I'd marry his music Let's see here....I Love the Seven Swans Album and Greetings from Michigan...Illinoise is great too! Recently, I received a live in Canada Recording...it's great, he tells tons of stories surrounding all the songs...it's so wonderful.
