Lol. You're not alone in that sentiment, Inwe. A virgin I will be for my wedding night as well. *le nod* Nothing to be embarrassed of at all.
But yeah, tampons are just uncomfortable. Napkins feel so much more natural, and I feel so much more "covered", ya know? No need to worry about leaks and such.

Lol, wow what topics here. Err...I'll say this, I am not one f those people that will wait until marriage to loose their viginity. I don't really see a reason for waiting. Honestly, I believe if a couple is truely ready, then go for it, what's stopping you. But then again, I am 24 and still one myself but I am also not one that rushes into it. I have not had good relationships in the past and didn't feel like I was ready it give up my viginity but apparetnly, a lot of guys do respect that. If I ever find myself in a good relationship in the future, I will give it up when I am ready since I do not see myself being married for a very, very long or it all at that rate and honestly, I do not want to wait forever even though it's also killing me.

Hehe, I've got some...but not a whole lot...and I can't say anything here because it's still not clean enough to say.
Oh, I am just as bad XD but it's with LOTR, mainly slash. Err, it doesn't really help you either way because in the end, you find yourself in a bit of a...'problem' let's just say.

I plan to save my virginity for my husband.
It's a gift that's meant for him.

Just thought of something - when I was younger, people were afraid of me cause I knew literally everything about everything and I was a very mature kid. xD
About sex ...
I'm used to talking about it and being fifteen or not, yep, I've thought of it quite deeply and even had quite ... sexual dreams. XD But I'll wait for the right man, mature mind or not, I don't want to have sex before I'm eighteen, I wanna be ready bodily (and I've been single for two months or so now, I've no chances of having sex anyhow XD).
About menstrual stuff ... oh god I'm having my cycle right now and it hurts. Hurts like hell. Still, I'm feeling a lot better than usually, probably because I'm having holidays and I'm not stressed at all so the crumps aren't at their usual hurting-ness. I always use pads and if I'm having my periods at the seaside ... oh well. Let's go swimming anyway, it's only the swimming pools that are risky when you're going through period cycle. Basicly you need to put on the pad/tampon the moment you're out of water or else you might look like a vampire but I'm not giving up swimming just because I have some extra blood between my legs.
PS - slash owns. Esp. Harry/Draco where Draco is an angsty, depressed teenager. <3

Nah, it makes sense Aerlinniel. I look at relationships quite different than most women. Most I know are into that romantic, mushy lovey stuff, while me on the other hand, I am not. I'm not interested in the romantic stuff nor am I interested in a guy that is a romantic type. I just don't think a relationship needs to be so based on love and sex. Sure, it's important in one and all but I prefer and much simpler relationship. I being in one where you can have a boyfriend but at the same time, have him be your best friend as well. I find it much more fun being away from mushy settings and just go out and enjoy activities that have no soul base on romance. Just having fun. But unfortunately, a relationship like that is hard to come by. I have said it already but I have had some of my share of physical intimacy but it was all just so minor that I still counted as a virgin. I won't rush into that kind of thing, ever and yet most men do not respect that. No wonder the relationships I've had never lasted long. Plus, when you are being pressured into sex, it just makes want it less and less. That's pretty much what happened to me.

Ditto, but I'm not into HP slash though. I am just strictly LOTR, mainly Elf/Elf. <3

Lol. I second that motion, JF. I think I'm becoming a bit brainwashed by it.
I'd also like to say that I completely agree with you in a way, Mrs. Haldir. I am definitely not against couples not getting married. For some people marriage just isn't need, and they know they can stay loyal to eachother without such bonds. I think that takes real commitment.
I think the reason I'd rather abstain until marriage [or rather, til my wedding night ] is because there's something very fairytale-ish about it. It's always been a sort of tradition in literature and movies that I couldn't give that up. Besides, I know marriage is the way for me, and I know that if my husband-to-be loved me enough he'd be able to wait no matter how long it takes.
And don't worry, JF-ish-ness. My aunt didn't lose her virginity til she was 35, and that's an extreme for present day.

Lol, now see, I am tomboy. XD I will never be feminine for a guy, hell I will not be feminine at all for the matter except for very special occasions. But if I am going out somewhere with a guy, I'll dress nice, but just nothing fancy. Ack! Flowers and roses, so old fashioned and boring. Don't get me wrong, I love flowers but I just prefer to admire them in a garden instead of having them plucked from the earth. Will will not turn away candy if given it though. XD I'm a chocohalic, except I don't like fancy chocolates with all the different creme fillings inside. Yuck, I think they taste gross. Plain milk chocolate will make me happy.
Another thing I don't like is when a guy does the oh so old fashioned thing by getting on his knee to propose. Come on now! It's so old, so overused, and so expected. Everyone knows when a guy gets on his knee he's going to propose. You can't think of anything creative? I like creativity and something a little unexpected, which I did get one dumb unexpected proposal once, my ex was stupid. XD But if it's bound to happen again, (I doubt it) maybe the next will be a little more creative.
And here's another, ladies, you don't need the biggest rock on your engagement ring. Simple is enough but personally, you don't really need one.

Really? Wow, I thought Engagement rings were a big thing everywhere but yeah, I think it's the biggest in America. I never got one but I don't really want one either.

I guess I'm just a die-hard romantic then. If my fiancé does anything other than get on one knee to propose to me, I think I'll be a bit disappointed. I'm all for the old-fashioned stuff, but then again, I guess I'm just a traditional kind of person.
And I second your thoughts on engagement rings, Mrs.Haldir. One of the pastor's at my church just got married and her engagement ring was gigantic! I swear the diamond was a good centimeter across, and was much too flashy for good taste. Not that anyone said anything of course...

Hahah same! I'd be totally blown away if he proposed on one knee... that'd be incredibly hard to resist too, the sweetness of it...

Wow, you two are saps for the old fashion stuff. XD I don't like it at all. I personally think a man looks silly on his knee. If one were to propose to me, I don't want to see it coming, I'd rather have it be something that would catch me off guard. My ex did a stupid one. Even though it did catch me off guard, it was still dumb. XD It didn't last anyway.
I guess I am weird to a bunch you ladies, or maybe I'm just picky. I'm not like other women.

Nah don't worry you're not weird... on the contrary, I don't know many who actually like the old fashioned stuff... my friends prefer the same as you too
I think a man would look absolutely adorable and swoon-worthy on his knee, holding a ring and a bouquet of flowers... *swoons* But honestly, I don't think there are many men who'd actually consent to doing that nowadays. I could be wrong though
I guess Lar and I are just... oddballs?

At the moment, I have a claddaugh ring from my dad. I got it on my thirteenth birthday, kinda as a purity ring.
Anyway, if you wear it upside down, it means you're unavailable. Flipped right-side up means you're engaged. What I've always thought would be REALLY cool is if the guy, instead of having an engagement ring, would flip it.
I've never thought about HOW I want to be proposed to... just that I want it to happen.
I have a really cool proposal story a guy friend of mine who just got married in September had... If y'all wanna read it I could post it.
