Some of you may have heard of the 12 year old Opera singing Child Prodigy Charlotte Church who's sang on Oprah, for the Queen, Pope, President, Prime Minister and a dozen other people lol

She's coming out with a new coming of age Album next month and it's called"Tissues and Issues"

Listen to the her single "Crazy Chick" http://www.musicmen.co.uk/news.php?item.221

I love it :) Anyone else here a fan of Charlotte Church?

Charlotte Church then....

Whoa, she's changed...
Well, I've recently begun to listen to her, I love The Flower Duet and Pie Jesu, but I don't own any of her cd's, maybe I should buy some.

The Flower Duet and Pie Jesu are beautiful songs, definetly two of my favorite Charlotte Church classical songs. If you're going to buy an album I would humbly recommend "Prelude: The best of Charlotte Church" it's a compilation of the best songs from all 4 of her classical albums ;)

Wow has she changed. I heard her duet with Billy Gilman (and was amazed that he can get as high as her lol) And then "the prayer" with Josh Groban. She has a wonderful voice, but I haven't listened to her all that much.

she's ok...I like her enough to buy her CDs :) I like Enchantment the best, it's a good mix of different kinds of songs (musicals, opera, celtic, etc.) I'm a person that likes variety ;)

I like Charlotte Church. She is very talented. My favorite cd is Voice of an Angel. I love Jerusalem, I Vow to Thee My Country, My Legan Love, Panis Angelicus, In Trutina, Pie Jesu... yeah I guess I can say just about the whole cd!

The girl is just amazing, she has an awesome voice. Such a great talent to have at such an early age, I hope she has good and wise people watching out for her. - WMW

I loved her back when she was classical. It
was hearing her voice that got me into classical singing. Her
voice was amazing. I haven't heard her new stuff though.
doesn't look anything I want to listen too really.
I was hoping she would put out a new classical CD
then I heard she was quiting classical and I was like "nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Too bad I got ito her music right when she'd put out
her very last classical album. :confuzzled:  :disgust: :annoyed:  :explode:  :annoyed2:

She has a beautiful voice, but I much preferred when she was doing classical. I don't much like her image now - the way she's dressing and the poses and eyebrows and such are just icky o.O

I have "Voice of an Angel" "Charlotte Church", "Enchantment" and "Dream a Dream". She was, in fact, the singer that really inspired me to sing classical music way back when I was thirteen or so. I like her ok, but she looks rather too "done-up" now and not so natural. Oh well...

Yeah, that's what I mean. It's sad
how alot of singers start out ok and then turn
"icky" like you said.

I've heard a lot of her songs from her new pop CD, they're really catchy!! I just need to wait until they release the CD here in the US...

I used to listen to Charlotte Church, but the only song I can remember of hers right now is "The Prayer" that she sings with Josh Groban. I really love that song, but I don't think I'd like listening to her sing pop songs. We have enough of that..we need more classical singers like she used to be. :P
