Morwen dismounted again, taking off the saddle. The Gondorians had just left the saddles on all of the horses. Thankfully, they hadn't looted any personal items from the saddle bags, and Morwen's knife was still there. She slapped the rump of one of the extra horses and called to Deawen, smoothing the horse's mane, "Deawen, here is Bredol!" Not seeing her anywhere, she called to the air, "Deawen?" spinning around, she saw no one. She asked Artinwe. "I haven't seen her." Slightly worried, she went to her dark lump of a pack, and started another fire from her pile of kindling. Another meal of jerky and dried potatoes. She sat down to cook, very worried about her friend. Eohric sat down and took over, sensing Morwen's distress. She leaned against him and watched the flames.

After they had eaten, Morwen went to her pack and laid down on her bedding. She took out her lute and plucked the odd string and hummed deftly an old tune from the prophesy:

The wind brings tidings from the world
From the north it brings strength
The winter in the north comes down
From the south comes the grains of the desert
And summer from the south will come
From the West the lone gull cries
the scent of flowring trees come
The hopes of ages past
there goes the sun, and goes the sun
And from the East the evil comes
the darkness and the shadow
and there alone will stand the king
and then his time will come.

she put down the lute and went to sleep, Eohric close beside her.

*Silent as a shadow, Sen stood a few yards away. After making sure there was no threat, he walked up to the camp, and whispered a lullaby over his sleeping compatriots.*
Oak and spruce, ash and Willow,
Watch the clouds over your head billow.
Millae and Tissel, Rose and Lilly,
Watch them dance like a bright young philly.

Go to sleep Ellaen’s bold young friend,
Close your eyes as the old days end.
Wake anew to a better day,
And see again the sun’s bright ray.

Dream of me, as you slumber,
As the sun fades now to umber.
As the moon rises in the sky,
On wings of dreams you shall fly.

Deawen took guard the last thing she needed was to be found she wrapped her cloak about her and nestled deeper in the leaves. soflty she humed
"from over the seas so wild they would be
a Storm has approached that all had forgotten
stand up proudly stand tall don't let this change bring down
your world
out of the ashes away from the flame
the waters have receded the wind has died
the earth stands now changed..."

Deawen hummed it she had never figuered out how that came to mind but she hummed on
Deawen fell asleep she dreamed of her father and mother the times when she was normal with no gift no troubles only fun and games her dreams the only place she could be happy.

(ha a riddle i like riddles or is it a prophesy? i don't know it could be)

Morwen heard something. It was a rattle in the bushes, the jangle of horses' reins. So the Gondorians hadn't left! She had stolen back her horse! As well as a few of the other horses!

It was decided, then. It was time to leave. They had been laying in a small dip that fell into the forest, so she nudged Eohric and pointed down to the scrubs a few feet away. Understanding, he brought his pack and his horse down as quietly as possible. Morwen did the same with Breda. Putting back on her helmet, she crawled like a slug up the hill to see how many guards were there. She could only see two that were awake. That was pure luck. They were not aware. Sen had probably disappeared, and she knew Deawen had.She went back and used signals to tell him and outline to him her plan. They would simply ride out to the path as quietly as they could, and when they were seen gallop away from Minas Tirith. She knew Deawen would understand, but she still felt bad. She pulled an extra lute string out of her saddlebag and threw it on the ground. She saddled Breda, Eohric saddling Cwen, and they walked their horses quietly towards the path.

About ten yards away from the head of the path, one of the guards spotted them. As he yelled, Morwen spurred Breda on, as did Eohric. They were out before the sleeping guards had put their helmets on and stood up.

Deawen heard the sounds of moving horses she jumped to her feet she spotted her friends leaving she watched them go then she raced through the woods she found Bredol all saddled "thank you Morwen!" she whispered thanks then she placed on her mask sword and armour then she rode away a diffrent route that her friends took she charged through the forest after her friends. Bredol moved like the wind Deawen's cloak billoiwed behind her making her look like a shadow.

Eohric heard galloping hooves and crunching undergrowth. Suspecting the worst, he said to Morwen, "Renweard cume oð æt þæ Norðan-Eastan! (Horseguard coming up from the North-East!)" "Ic hieran! We ridan betera þe man! (I hear! We ride beter than they!)" she answered back. They spurred on their horses, knowing that if they gave out, they could be done for.

*A shadow sped down the hillside, seeming to be of the very earth itself. Yet when it got closer, they saw that it was the blonde haired, black armored figure of Sen. He was riding a large black warhorse, faster and more silent than the wind...*

Deawen spurred Bredol on faster she leaned forward when she relised her friends thought her an enemy she spotted Sen close by Deawen smiled a bit then she whispered to Bredol "have sha then meras " (ride like the Meras) Bredol snorted and charged faster than he had ever gone before Deawen wrapped her arms around his powerful neck she was matching Sen's speed now.

"Motan francas du beadu bereofan eow(May spears of battle destroy you!)" cursed Morwen loudly, hurling it into the dark forest. She knew she Breda was tired and could not go any faster. Just as the last spark of hope faded, there was a splotch of light ahead. They were almost out. "Lytel foldweg, nu, Breda. Ridan on! (A little further now, Breda. Ride on!)" Eohric was urging on Cwen as well. "Cuman, cuman, cuman, min Cwen(Come, come, come my Cwen (Queen)!)!" They burst out onto the short grassy stubble.

*The shadow that was Sen and his horse could be seen flickeringly through the forest, and they suddenly snapped clear as they reached the grassy area. Sen was not ten yards to the side of them, and he pulled up next to them. It didn't look as if his horse was even trying...*
Friends, why do you bolt suddenly in the middle of the night?

Morwen had drawn her sword. She slowed Breda, yelling, " Motan eow begemeltan se eorð folde gelic hrið fram se grunde! (May you melt off the earth like snow off the ground!) Why did you say nothing?!" Most of this outburst was directed at Deawen, but she was annoyed with Sen for sneaking up so quietly. "We--well I...ran from the soldiers because they are looking for me. A messenger arrived in the clearing saying that our horses were gone, along with several other prized horses." She said this last part with a devilish grin. :sly: "So, I saw that the guards were more aware after that, and that they were starting to make rounds around the clearing, so we left. We thought you were the guards coming after us."
