Not dead yet

As you might imagine from seeing the previous two news items, I'm not dead yet! I'll be on holiday break in a week, so you can expect more updates (and a winter layout) around then. As to the e-mail situation, it's going to be such a disaster sorting through mounds of spam that I'm planning on simply deleting the whole arwen@a-u e-mail account. I'm very sorry to anyone who's e-mailed me since the summer, because I won't be able to respond to your message, but I will post what the new e-mail address is once I create it. Thanks for understanding!

Banner claim round 12

It's been a while since round 11, but hopefully y'all haven't forgotten how these things go :) There are ***150*** banners waiting to be claimed - 32 LotR, 110 non-LotR, and 8 Pirates of the Caribbean (which is non-LotR, but still counts as separate). So head on over to the forum, or more specifically, the thread here to snag a banner for yourself. Please remember that you must be a member of the forum to claim a banner (and also please read the FAQs on the thread about claiming before you post)!

FotR viewing

Almost five years ago, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was released in theaters! To commemorate this Ringerdom landmark, the mod team and I would like to invite you to join with your friends and fellow Ringers as we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the release. End of an era

I first started A-U in November of 2002. Since then, it's been a huge part of my high school experience. Tomorrow, however, I set off for my freshman year of college. At this point, I honestly do not know how much time I'll have for A-U. There's absolutely no way it will shut down, or that I won't update it at all, but I can't be sure exactly how often I'll be update. (This is getting long, so please click the Read more link!)
