  • Spent 5 years as President of Fine Line Features, a speciality film division of New Line Cinema

  • Currently is a partner of Amber Entertainment, a company he launched in 2009

  • Is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences

  • Graduated in 1985 from the University of Southern California with a BA in journalism

  • Has a brother, Joel who is an executive in the entertainment, media and technology industry

  • Supports the Anti-Defamation League as a regional board member and Chair of its Entertainment Industry Committee
