Mára aurë everyone! I'm new here, so please tell me a little about yourselves! I'm Mavyan, but most people just call me Mav. I love food, drawing, and music. I adore LOST, LotR, and Code:LYOKO. I am the co-founder of the Knights of Insanity, a group-in-progress. I think this site is awesome! I am in the process of creating a website of my own, so I would welcome any ideas! That's pretty much it for now...

Hiya Mav, and welcome to the forum! I'm Elenmir, but I mostly go by as Miri. It's nice to meet you. Well for avatars, you can go to your profile, and put in something that you already saved from your computer, or choose something from the gallery. And for banners, you can get one from another site, or you can request someone to make you one, in the Requests section of the forum.
For banners, go to the signature part in your profile and put in the banner url:

My name is Anna, although I go mostly by Eru here (or Erulissë) so you can call me whatever you like, hehe. I'm a 21 year old girl from Sweden who loves music, LotR and books above all. I've been a Narnia fan since age 5, a LotR fan since age 8 and a Phantom of the Opera fan since age 9. I adore Lost as well and haven't missed an episode (I also own the first season on DVD).I'm a liberal and an atheist/heathen and I'm extremely fascinated by the ancient Norse Mythology.
