Greetings everyone .
I'm Eärwen and I'm the latest newbie .
I'm a great fan of Tolkien and all his works . And though LOTR is a unique masterpiece indeed , my personal favourite is The Silmarillion , because of the detailed information about the elves ( my favourite race ) which it offers .
However . Just wanted to say hi and pleased to meet you all .

Hi Eärwen! Welcome to the A-U forum!
I love The Silmarillion too, although the first time I read it I had to keep looking in the glossary to remember all the elf names - it seemed like all the male elves had names starting with F's!

Hi! Welcome to the forum! I'm very pleased to meet you. We sound pretty similar, my favorite race is the Elves, and I think the best book is the Silmarillion.

Tis a wonderful forum and I'm glad I've joined .
And thanks for the offered help .
Till now I didn't encounter any difficulties , but if I do I surely won't hesitate and will call for help ^.~

I know what you mean . At first I also constantly checked the glossary for all elven names and terms . But the good thing is this happens only at the first reading

Tolkien's elves are great , aren't they But as The Silmarillion is lacking a dialouge , LotR needs more elves . That's why I like the 1st one the best  And thanks for the welcome . See you around .
