It is very active, and since the members come from all over the world you'll find people here at any times!
And it used to be an Invisionfree board until the webmaster switched to this, and to me it looks very similar!

Hello there, I´ve been visiting for quite some time and finally managed to register...
I am Núri or Fui Nienna, spouse of Vefántur Mandos. My name means 'who sighs' but I have many names. I am living in a wide black hall under the blessed earth of Valinor which is named Fui. Its wall is of bats' wings and its pillars of basalt. Hither come the sons of man to hear their doom, and I will read their hearts.

A slightly scary introduction, but after all most fitting for a Tolkien forum!

Yeah, I know its quite scary.I just liked the name so I picked it and didnt want to change the origin. Besides the story of Nuri was new to me when I started to read Lost Tales, so it was really interesting to read about her.
