After a week of looking around, I decided to join this forum, since I've been a HUGE LOTR-fan for as long as I can remember. Besides LOTR, I also like most other fantasy movies and books, I love listening to movie soundtracks and my favorite season by far is winter (hence the username )

Well ofcourse! I'm a huge fan of Robin Hobb, she wrote several trilogies with crossing storylines, but I recommend you start with the The "Farseer" Trilogy. Besides that, the books from Juliet Marillier are also great, although they are more like romantic fantasy stories and I also really enjoyed "The Dwarves" from Markus Heitz (it's a four part serie)

Ooh nice.. I've heard a lot of good about Robin Hobb but never read anything from her.. I'm quite picky with my fantasy.. after reading LotR most other stuff seems dull.
