Hello, I'm blackcrayon and I'm new. I know being a nOOb (or what ever you call it) is not exactly a desirable attribute, but if anyone is willing to waste their time by introducing themselves to be I'd be much obliged. Besides, I have pints! :drool: :bounce: (down, Pippin.)
Anyway. Things you should know about me: I am a girl. At the other forum i visit sometimes some people thought I was a guy. :duh: sad but true. (btw, "the other forum" happens to be The One Ring.com, which all things concidered is a pretty good site.)
Thing number two...In my free time I like to write stories and poems and things like that. I like watching people perform Shakespeare for reasons I have not yet figured out. I have an abnormal fear of answering machines. and I like spending time with my computer, exept when I'm mad at it, in which case I hover around it, cursing and muttering things about ripping out its cords and throwing it out a seventh story window.
Is there anyone out there with advice, etc.? I'd love to hear it! ummm...I think thats about it. (Dang it! I never know how to end posts) so... ah, have a nice day....? :blink: :bye2:

ooohh, i love writing, too! only stories, and such, though. poetry does not float my boat. :confused2: too many rules for my mind. but i deeply admire those who can write poems!

ah yes, i have a love/hate relationship with my computer. without it, i wouldn't get to meet all these fun people, or even go to A-U (now that's the scariest thought that's ever entered my head :hide:)!!! but i hate it sometimes when it locks up, or just acts crazy for no reason (thinks she should start a computer support group :P)! :smash:

well, anyway. advice? mmm...yeah, i got some in there...i think. lol :P naw really, i'd love to help you with any problems or questions that you have. :D not only i, but the whole rest of the Welcoming Team is at your service. *bows*

Hello SM, JF and Gwen! thank you for the lovely welcoming remarks! I guess everyone else has nicknames so...you can call me BC although that sounds rather prehistoric. About the computer support group, good idea! in fact i have a number of computer parts hanging around my house...sometimes i feel like sticking a circut board or something onto a stick as a sort of warning when my computer is being especially disagreeable. Maybe with a sign saying something like, "I am not a patient person. I destroy computers!!!" :throw: :smash: :confused2: :whistle:

Hello Balckcrayon!!!

OMG! someone Ican relate to on the matter of bloody computers!!!! My computer is a bloody piece of junk and it never works correctly!!! It's always freezing up and it can barely load anything anymore... I too wish I could throw it out my bedroom window, but I think Daddy would probably get pretty mad....he's the one with the good computer...
