Well....uhm... I'm Ithilwen and I'm writing from Croatia. Is anybody also from croatia or am I the only one :blush: ? I took the name Ithilwen because it sounds beautiful to me...I like meeting new people, and avoid any kind of quarrelling

I must agree with you that Ithilwen is a very beautiful name! What does it mean exactly?

Welcome, Ithilwin, to the Arwen-Undómiel forums! I hope you will have a wonderful stay. I like your (nick)name as well. I do know "ithil" means "moon", but the "wen" part.. I don't think there is any (known) word in Sindarin which begins with a "w", actually.
Same with the name "Cuilwen", "cuil" means "life", but the "wen" part, I do not know.. I may not be that skilled in Elvish after all :(.

Well, anyways, welcome again ;)

The 'wen' part means maiden, so Ithilwen means "Moonmaiden". I have an Elvish dictonary. Very handy! :bounce:
