I feel a bit guilty to say I do not come to be one of the community as I unfortunately would not have the time. However, I do ask that perhaps some or someone of you may be able to help me out with a little something. I voice act online for fun, and I've been developing and mixing a scene in audio for the last day involving Aragorn and Arwen.
It is a rather intimate scene (not physically, but emotionally), and I thought it would be only more natural to have some of their dialogue in Elvish. However, I am not one who is very adept with the dialect... and so I started searching around the net. I found a few sites, eventually this one. I read through the dictionary, phrases, etc., but it wasn't enough to accurately portray the dialogue I have set in mind.
And so, I ask anyone who may be fluent with Elvish, who may also be willing to translate for me whenst I complete a final copy of the script (it is quite short. The audio piece will be no longer than 5 minutes at most, if that). I will of course credit you for this if you so wish.
And if not, I appreciate you taking the time to read this.

Mmm..sorry, I can't help you there. I'm not at all good at Elvish.
But I do happen to know that Galasriniel is very fluent in Elvish, maybe you should send her a pm. I think she would be able to help you.
Btw, I'm sorry you won't be staying.

I appreciate your replies, thank you. I shall definitely check that forum as well as try giving Galasriniel and you as well, Elf Lady Alane, a private message whenever I finish up the script. Thank you again for your help.

I dont think I can help you I only know few phrazes in elvish. If you jion CouncilofElrond.net I think thats it. They have a elvish learning section for Sindarin and Quenya. Its free. Good luck with your project! It will be cool to see or hear when its done.

Thank you very much, all of you, whether you may be able to help or not I see you are very nice people and it is quite a shame I won't have the time to stick around.
However, hopefully when the short audioplay is done and finished, it can be something you all may enjoy.

Wish you could stay, though. You sound like a nice kind of person to hang around.

If you're talking Sindarin I can help because I've done the whole course at Council of Elrond. But if you mean Quenya I've only done half of that one. But I expect you mean Sindarin because that's the dominant language at the time of LotR. If you don't know me it's because I'm new here, my home is at the Council, but I'm trying a few more LotR sites. Given time, I can help. PM me with the script if you want. That's if you've not chosen Enyalië_Vandarya or Galasriniel.
