I think The Return of the King is the only LOTR movie where I've cried. I also may have cried a little when Boromir died.

I never cried in the movies, but I did come really close in Return of the King.

I've only cried at Rotk. Though, I did come close to crying at Boromir's death. But the Grey Havens scene always get me.

I've cried the most during RotK. Once, during the Battle of Pelennor Fields, all of the destruction just hit me so hard I was a wreck, especially the scene where Eomer thought Eowyn was dead. Plus there's the Grey Havens. How can you not cry when you see that? Plus, I come near tears almost every time I hear 'Into the West'. I don't cry over everything every time, but it is definitely a very touching movie.

I didn't cry in the Grey Havens.. but I came really close. The part I almost cried was with Frodo hanging on Mt. Doom and wanting to let go.
And, I also almost cried because it was the last one.

^Yeah, that's a really moving part too. Like Sam's "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" That part just makes me...i don't know, feel all glowy inside, like something has to spill out. I guess that would be tears.
Oh, yes. Of course we were sad it was the last one.

I don't exactly cry, because-I don't know, if the moment lasted longer all of the elements of the situation would have a chance to dawn on me, but I do get that glowy feeling like Riniel Aranel said, and sometimes I do get a bit teary.
Truth said, it would be fotr. Elijah's blue-eyed performance, especially when he's standing there on the bank with tears running down his face...but mostly Boromir's death. That scene was incredibly well done that the emotion could come through that well! With Aragorn kissing him on the forehead and Boromir calling him brother, captain, and king...I mean, WOW!

The only time I cried was in The Return of the King at the Gray Havens. When I first saw the movie I didn't know where Frodo was going and why he was going, so I found it very sad.

actually the return of the king. I still cry when I see it. I cry when Frodo says to sam to go home, and when they are on mount doom, and when aragorn says "for frodo" and when all the people in minas tirith bow to the hobbits and the grey havens...and sam's marriage 'cause it's such a cute scene. ahah seems like a cry a lot during this movie

The first time I saw RotK I was guilty for howling, not crying, or sobbing, HOWLING! From Sam screaming, "NOOOOO!" at Mount Doom to the end of the Grey Havens scene. I woke up my friend's dad, who was sleeping in his bedroom right above their living room, and he told us we had to go to bed right after Frodo sailed off. So I didn't even get to see the credits! hehe!

Actually the scenes where I have to cry have changed over the years. In the beginning the scenes that made me cry where Boromir's death in FotR and Theoden talking to Gamling before the battle of Helm's Deep and Sam's speech at the end of TTT and of course the Grey Havens scene.
But now, I rather cry when Frodo stands at the shore of Anduin with the ring in his hand at the end of FotR and the scene where Elrond tells Arwen to sail to Valinor in TTT and the Mt. Doom scene in RotK, but the Grey Havens scene still makes me cry..

The Return of the King - I honestly don't think I've cried more at any other film (not sure if that's good or not) - I suppose it's the power behind it. Still amazing, however.

I def. cried in the third movie the most. in the FotR when gandalf dies and everyones mourning and Frodo screams "GANDALF! NOOOOOOOO" oh god that was soo emotional. and then Sams little speech at the end of TTT. plus many many many more.
