Yes they are. I love Idriel. But Hadhod is the funniest of the bunch.

I was on a roll all the way through TTT (winning all the levels I play the first time) and now I'm stuck on the Pelennor Battle and I can't beat it no matter how many times I play. I'm on the Sauron side and Rohan and the undead have me outmaneuvered and outnumbered. I hate Aragorn...

I've runned the game 4 times (got freetime problems) in 5 months and the best tip I can give is: Use Morgul Decay on hard enemies. That removes their armor completely and they take more damage. Recomended on the Balrog, Uruk Berserkers, Gothmog, Oliphaunts, the Witchking and Sauron.

Well there's a bunch of battles there, but I shall help with all (I just replayed it last night.. hehe)
Legolas' battle: Get those ladders down as fast as possible!
Gimli: Use Elegost's arrow's of sleep then kill one row of enemies at a time
Aragorn: save the trolls for last
Last battle (the one that seems forever): use auora of the valar (Idriel) on her, and whomever else you want to keep alive. Paralize the trolls and focus on one group at a time.
Hope this helps!

I've got it, and beat it for Gamecube. I suggest you have a good stock of armour decays, hp recoverers, mp recoverers, and revives(sorry about the blatant names, i've not touched the game since summer). For Helms Deep-get the ladders down! I primarily used Berethor, Elegost, and Hadhod for Helms Deep.
Me favourite characters, and best used ones, are:Berethor, Hadhod, and Elegost(in that order) the runner up is Idril, then the Rohirrim, and Morwen is last...
My most troublesome battle was against Gothmog! And Hadhod didn't have the fire mountain attack!

I just accidently replaced my file in the memory card and I deleted it! I had finished the game months ago too! Now I have to start all over.
Eaoden was my best player. He was immune to almost anything. If anyone needs help you can ask me! I didn't have a guide or anything, I only had 99% instead of 100%. I have it on ps2.
*****Mire! You should have Idrial out always so she can use aura of the valar. That should help during the battle at helms deep.

So does anyone know how to get past the part right after you see the Balrog where like six guys come out and attack you? I can never get past that.

I'm working on my second time playing through, and beat it both times. (I have it on gamecube)
Here's a small hint: To get extra level ups and skills, go back to older levels and fight some more. Use people that you don't always play with, and they'll get a lot of points. One good spot is the very last part of Rohan close to where you exit. If you run around a bunch in the circle area, you'll do quite a bit of fighting.

^ Idrial?
I really liked her she is awesome.
I was reading some other posts on some gaming site, and they disliked the "relationship" between the two. I for one, liked it , ha it was hillarious, the first time Idrial kissed Berethor I almost had a heartattack because throughout the game Larien and I were discussing how Idrial and Elegost should hit it off...oh no....it was Berethor...Ha...ha
