Post subject:  Top Trumps!
There's this awesome game called Top Trumps. It has quite some themes, but
by far the best theme is of course Lord of the Rings! Does anyone else know/play this game?
My friends and I are totally addicted to it, to great regret of our teachers...

Let me explain the game :P It's really quite easy. You have these cards, each with a picture and a name on it. For example:
Legolas. Culture: Elf
Restistance to Ring: 2
Age: 7000
Resilience: 8
Ferocity: 42
Magic: 14
Height: 5'10''

When you've got Legolas and it's your turn, you have to say age, because he's pretty old, in this game only Galadriel can beat him. So the chance is pretty high that you win, and then you get the cards of your opponants. The one who loses all his cards first is the loser :p

Yeah, we have a few in our house (they are so exepensive for that they are though I think) both LOTR, POTC, actors and... another one I can't remember. :P

Although I can't use my POTC one anymore, as I sent Barbossa to be signed by Geoffrey Rush and now it is, I won't risking playing with it. :teehee:

Ooooh I had both RotK and TTT top Trumps, my friends and I used to play them all the time, until it got predictable because we all knew what was on nearly every card, and who ever got Gandalf/Aragorn/Treebeard/Sauron/Galadriel/The Ring/Legolas would win. We'd sometimes mix the 2 packs together too lol which made things more interesting :).

Oooh I didn't even know that there was an FotR one! I thought they'd just made the last 2 because it'd be a good merchandising idea lol.

Check out EBay- they have everything on there!

I used to play that game, but I lost the cards for the LOTR one :grr:
