If you want to. Haldir, I know. It was hard for me too (tho it's not like i'm done learning). But like anything, if you really love doing it, it's worth it. *eats Elvish up along with Nauriel*

I think I'll probably be able to speak it fluently when I'm lying on my death bed

*looks innocent* But the more people eat it, the easier it will be for others to learn it, because you'll have someone to speak it with. We can't keep this banquet to ourselves.
Haldir: I don't blame you, lol. Of course, we don't know everything about there is to know about Elvish yet, and I understand it's been rather slow getting published. Still, there is a good lot we can learn in the meantime. Don't worry--it took me a while to stop making silly mistakes (mostly stop, at least ).

Well, I would recommend a downloadable course of some kind to actually learn it, but since you need someone to practice with, and not very many people you'd meet in real life speak Elvish, this thread could fulfill that role, if you guys want. It could be sort of an "Elvish Support Group".

oh!! we should start a Sindarin and Quenya thread [[if there isn't already one]] and we can try and actually speak those languages to each other ... like carry out an actual conversation. And we can correct each other if there are mistakes and learn from each other and such...

Oooh yes! Should we have seperate threads for Sindarin and Quenya? Or should the people who post just answer to the one they're trying to learn? Because I would like to become fluent in both...

yes I think that would be a great idea. I think it's a very good method for learning Quenya/Sindarin
