Here are two generators for elvish and dwarf names. You can generate up to 100 names at a time, until you find the perfect one for you! elvish names; http://www.rdinn.com/generators/2/elven ... erator.php dwarf names; http://www.rdinn.com/generators/1/dwarv ... erator.php there are other generators, but this one is the best i've used. others often have only a few names in their database (Idril, Arwen, etc) (i made this post in rpg as well, but thought it would also be useful in languages) |

AGH! It's the attack of the random syllables! I tried out the "Elven" one and got these: Nibenluanion (So... many... syllables) Jarenron (No "J" in Tolkien's Elvish.) Aebeliien (I put in for male names, got one with a feminine suffix) Veleaphaddraug (Try saying that 5 times fast) Yeah, this definitely isn't any use to a Tolkien-language fan. Someone did a google search on "Elvish" and put in every word they could find, no matter the source. |

Thora Pickfoot is what I got when I used fantasy for the Dwarf one. Hilta Reikal is what I got when I used realistic for the Dwarf one. Calloniel Saerwen (I have two first name results actually, the other name is Thalionwen) is my first name and middle name in Sindarin (I did research) but when I used the site you recommended I got Silivdathiel Undovaul. |
