Post subject: | I'M GOING TO INTERVIEW TOLKIEN'S NIECE VERY SOON!CANCELLED |
Hi Tolkien lovers, I have recenly found out that my father knows a woman he met a few years ago who was Tolkien's Niece! My dad is trying to track down her contact details for me and have a chat to her to see if its ok for me to have a chat about her uncle with her. I am letting you all know because I wondered if anyone had any questions they'd like me to ask her for them. She's a very nice down to "Middle-earth" lady and loves chatting about her uncle. So let me know if you've got a question and I'll add it to my list. I'll let you know when the interview will take place. Regards Emma Baggins xxxx question's added to my list are: 1.Does she know any information about the characters in Middle-earth that Tolkien did not release to the general public? Anything concerning elves? - Arien. 2.Has is she seen the new movie? Dose she like it? - Elronds Child |

Yes! There was! He wrote like thirteen or so pages of it. It's some where floating around the net. I'll post the link when I find it. |

Here you all are: Has anyone read the New Shadow? It was Tolkien's 30-Page-Attempt to make a sequel to LOTR, which was quickly abandoned. I ahven't but I found this link on another forum about it: http://www.fountain.btinternet.co.uk/tolkien/ It's small so hard to read but if you squint, you'll get it. |

Coolish! *is envious* I´ve got one question.. Does she like LotR & stuff and foes does she feel being a niece of one of the best fantasy authors of 20. century? btw Arien - yes... read a half of it when I was at the bookstore.. and figured out I had no money for the book. |
