You can hit me if I will make a mistake! I hate it when people misspell the names or mix them up. Somewhere in the subtitles of the extra's they say Lothien instead of Luthien. :annoyed:

Good job.... very nicely put.....but... uhm... when I read through the lists.... *hesitates and looks up at the strict Mrs.gamgee* Usually I spell Lúthien with accent over the u to indicate the stress....

I am not a brilliant speller, but normally I get characters and anything related to books spelt ok. It's spelling stuff to do with reality that stumps me...

Yesh, this was a good idea. This is a very good list; if my mind suddenly goes blank I'll try to look over here. Also..unless I'm not reading it right, I think you forgot Pelennor Fields.

Yup, Pelennor Fields.... and maybe Middle-earth.... mmmm, and all the different names for Valinor, like the Undying Lands, Blessed Realm and so on.... uhm... perhaps Beleriand.... that's all I can think of for now.... oh, by the way, why did you put Undying Lands as a synonym for Grey Havens (Mithlond)....?
I hope I don't get to sound picky because it's a honorable quest you're on, to collect and write out all names and places!

I didn't know that Imladris was called The First Homely House, how can it be both the First and the Last Homely House... do you know what it refers to, would be interesting to know :-)

Wow, that's really impressive. I'll be careful not to ever make a spelling mistake in front of you. (*quickly scans reply for any spelling mistakes before submitting it*).

I dont use all those, lol, but I've always spell them correctly, maybe cuz most words are spelled the same way they sound (in Spanish, my 1st language) I'm still confused in howI'm supposed to say words/names with more than one accent

normally if I make a spelling mistake related to LotR it is a typo. Although I never put accents and stuff b/c I don't know any of the shortcuts and it would be a pain to have to spend 15 minutes looking for the one letter!

Watch out, I'm here to be annoying again!
Beleriand isn't Valinor.... it was a part or Arda but during the time of the Silmarillion but was later destroyed and is not to be found in todays Arda... anyway, it is not a part of Valinor... mmmm, if anything, maybe you could put Alqualondë....

Just a suggestion but one of Gandalf's many names is also Stormcrow.... Lúthien is called Tinúviel (like Arwen is called Undómiel)... Use it if you find it useful...
