er, nope. That would be suicide. I don't think Fangorn and company would be pleased.
Would you ever offer to buy the Prancing Pony?

No, I'm just not cut out for the vocation of an innkeeper.
Do you think pocket-sized palantíri could become popular in Middle-earth?

You bet. They would be the equivalent of Modern-earth's IPads.
Would open a super-market in the Shire?

Karen Wynn Fonstad, in her „Atlas of Middle-earth”, estimates the Shire to have an area of about 21,400 square miles. That translates into about 55,400 square kilometers. This is about the size of Croatia, or in terms of US states, a bit smaller than West Virginia (by about 10%). That’s a lot of acreage for just one supermarket. And Hobbits by and large (have to) walk to get anywhere. So, a chain of supermarkets (franchise system?) would theoretically be needed. But then I’m not sure that the Shire, which I guess to be quite agriculturally based (we really know next to nothing about the economy; trade in during LoTR seems to have been close to nonexistent, trade out limited to pipe-weed) would support such a chain. Probably not a sound business case.
(Historical real-world note: Walmart gave up on the German retail market in 2006 after about a ten-year try for a variety of reasons, including there being massive competition from long-extant companies in their market segment, and because Walmart’s “corporate culture” was looked on quite negatively here. In M-e terms, perhaps something like a “Lotho Pimple effect”.)
Would you ever consider opening a travel agency specializing in “(Far) Harad Vacations” in Minas Tirith?

I would but only if you were my partner. You seem to have an extensive knowledge of Middle-earth. Something that has escaped me.
Would you ever consider redecorating Sauron's tower in Mordor to try to get rid of all of the black?

Not from Fonstad's atlas, certainly. I was rather speculating on Fourth Age Harad resembling the current Mediterranean region. I certainly wouldn't go there before his downfall. But afterwards, the tower was rubble, just like Thangorodrim in the First age. As I mentioned for that elsewhere, I would leave the redecorating to the forces of erosion. Would you ever consider assisting in the restoration of the countryside around Minas Morgul to normal forms of flora?

if I had an army of gardeners from Imladris and Lothlórien to assist me. I would love to restore Mordor from wasteland to verdant garden.
Would you ever try to dissuade Maedhros from giving up his inheritance as High King of the Noldor in Middle-earth?

erm, no. I can't imagine raising an elf as precocious as Fëanor.
Would you ever steal Roheryn and ride him into battle?

1. I never learned to ride; 2. My army days ended 41 years ago this March, and for some odd reason we never had any trainig with lances, pikes, spears, bows 'n' arrows, axes, maces, or swords. I'd prefer to watch the whole thing on CNN.
Would you ever try to steal 'taters from the Gaffer?

I might. I would think he would have all sorts of different types, and I might want to try them: boiled, mashed, or stuck in a stew.
Would you ever try to learn to play the harp with the missing Maglor as your teacher?
