@Longposts -

Aye, I’ve certainly learned that since we met… :P Although random times always make for good memories, now don’t they?

The actual Hershey factory or Hershey Park? I’ve never been to the factory, but the theme park is brilliant. As a matter of fact I should ask mom if we can go over the summer. Somehow I could picture that - although I don’t blame you. I’d probably do the same if it was Beckett. :pirate:

Really? Well that’s good for you! My friend is the same way - she’s better at poems. I just can’t do them - I think stories are easier. Maybe it’s because I can never get my poems to rhyme… ah, I’ll never be another Edgar Allan Poe. :eyeroll:

What’s that? I’ve never heard of it. Eh, I don’t really like fudge. Animal crackers!

Oh, I don’t think so… I actually squee when a commercial comes on! :P I wanted to buy it, but I think I’ll wait a little while. I’m just not in a movie-watching mood right now. That’s cool though - I love watching movies with OC characters in them! I hope you see it! I don’t really want to watch any movies as I’ve said before. Right now it’s just AU time. I’m really far behind with everything. :lost: No, I didn’t… *ish ashamed* But he was such a cute dork, too! :teehee:

Okay, well I shall keep that in mind. ;-) I just feel bad for our OC guys… especially in BWE - it seems like they’ve lost the people they love. *sighs* How tragic..

Okay, I’ve got her bio at the end of the post. :D

@Rainbow Crayon -

I love drawing too - characters mostly, especially from all of the TV shows and movies that I adore. But I’m so bad at drawing actual people - they just turn out all cartoon-looking and weird.

Yeah, I haven’t been there in ages… Actually I should go reply to some of the clubs in the Club Section, but I don’t feel like it right now. :P Yep, I know what you mean! It’s so easy to let them just slip and not post. Oh, well thank you! :teehee: Although I’m really not looking forward to turning 15... Trying to hold on to childhood and all that. But as PD told me once, I’ve still got a while to go before I’m your age or even hers, so I’m going to make the most of it while I still can. :) Huzzah for teh crazyness!

Exactly… I can’t wait to keep going with KAWEOTH. ;-)

(Eb)</center>

http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/ff160/tapsghost/ebony2.jpg

Gender: Female

Siblings: One Younger Sister - Ivory Demarest

Parents: Daviel Demarest [Father] and Carmon (Applegate) Demarest [Mother]

Age: 17

Date of Birth: July 21st

Hair: Wavy dirty blonde

Eyes: Green

Apparel: Most of the time Ebony can be found wearing an elegant pastel yellow gown and heels, but when she is practicing archery, she wears a white chemise with a black vest and black breeches. She almost always has her hair tied up with a black ribbon.

Personality: Ebony has always been extremely reserved. She’s rather shy and likes to avoid conflict if at all possible. Ebony is much like her father - calm and trustworthy and prefers to stay in one spot; she’s pretty opposite of her sister and the more rational one, too.

Weapons: A hand carved wooden bow and arrows with black feathers

Background/History: Ebony Demarest was born on July 21st in Port Royal, to parents Daviel and Carmon. When she was a little, Ebony loved playing with her little sister and the two spent most of their time together in their beautiful home. But when Ebony turned 9 years old, a tragedy struck the family - her mother, Carmon, had unfortunately passed away while giving birth to what would be their baby brother. She doesn’t like to talk about the incident and never asks her father about it. After that, Ebony tried to raise herself in a way that her mother would have been proud of. With her father working most of the day, Ebony makes sure to take care of the house but still manages to find time to study her schoolbooks, in hopes of one day becoming a teacher. Ebony’s fondest memory was going down to the beach with her parents and sister, and that is something she holds very dear.

Other Notes: *Ebony is the niece of Charlotte and Nicolas Applegate and the cousin of Anneliese and Desiree

WN, haha, really? Teh PDie doesn't really like pie much... but oh well. that's interesting... :P cool! I'm Dutchish now! (and now I also know how to pronounce it ;)) PDee!!! Whee! (it rhymes! :teehee:)

nope, I don't live there, but I live sort of near it... :P It's in the mid-west, I guess... ummm, it's by Lake Michigan and it boarders Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois. if you looked on a map or something of the US you should be able to see it. :erm: haha, yes the wooden shoes and windmills! :P (awww, that's depressing to hear all those cool things are purposeless now ;)) that's cool... I didn't know it was the oldest democracy ever... :notworthy: (teh infamous "they" ;)) yummy! cookie! :bounce: yup, I'm happy now.

awww, poor Will! ummm, Sam could marry Joe and Tristan could marry Emma. :P I don't think it would work out for either couple, but still. ;) just trying to be helpful here.

La La, hehe, I'm sure you probably have... :innocent: that's exactly right! Random times make for awesome memories!

hm, I think what I'm talking about it the actual factory. either way I've never been to either. :P I want to see if they give away free chocolate like the Budweiser factory gave away free samples of beer. :eyeroll: :P but I also think it would be neat to tour anyway. The park, depending on what's in it, might not be good for me. Roller coasters = :P who wouldn't!? lol

I suppose so... I'm still working on it though. Not that good really. at least in my own opinion I'm not. I just like to play at it. I still think I am better with prose than poetry. ;) It really depends on my mood, I guess.... but most of the time, yeah, I'm not as good with poems. You could do free verse poetry though, Ara. :-D Edgar Allan Poe? :P Me likith his poetry.... :innocent:

It's only on Mackinaw Island (by the Mackinaw bridge... you know, up north). ;) but it is delicious! Easter Egg Jell-O Jigglers! (mom made them for Easter... yummy!)

you did? :teehee: wow... I didn't even do that. ;) I still mean to buy it, but since I didn't have the money I only rented it. And it is still so sweet! me wuve the song So Close... btw, did you get my pm about that? anyway, it's great! And I was surprised but while watching it I didn't think much of Emma... :erm: I do too! :P meh, I'm not gonna see Atonement after all... I didn't know about some of the stuff it had in it. :yuck: so I think I'll pass (even though the basic story still is good)... I just don't want all those disgusting images in my mind. anyway, I feel like a movie-watching mood now... weird. :P he was, I guess. But if you had stuck around and watched more he has a way of getting on your nerves.

hm, I guess so... but a lot of the girls have lost those they love in BWE too. So it's pretty equal... all the pain and suffering. It's fun to write, I must say. :-D tragic, but great. :)

wow, Eb's bio is great, Ara! My revised bio of Ivory still doesn't compare... :lost: you did a good job... she's such a unique character! And we're adding even more to the whole Carmon/Daviel/Ebony/Ivory storyline. :teehee: more deepening of the plot!!! Me love it!

btw, I've updated my OCs bios too... :-D especially Ivory's. But anyway I sort of cheated and stole some ideas from Aramel. :P

Aye, that they do! :D

Well, in that case I’ve never been there, but we have another great chocolate place called Premise Maid… ‘tis heavenly. Ahh, yeah, after spending the day in a park filled with chocolate, I think one would return home 50 pounds heavier. :P I haven’t been there in a while though. Would love to go back. Oh gosh, I hate rollercoasters! Fear of heights and all, not to mention the only things keeping you in are a thin piece of material called a seat belt and a rusty piece of metal for the lap bar… :hide:

Oh posh, you’re awesome at it! Although I can see how you could be critical of your own work - I’m the exact same way. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to start off a story and then end up throwing it away because it was horrible. Aye, I know! My friend and I will start quoting some of Poe’s poetry [lol] at lunch. :teehee: Everyone gets annoyed, but it’s so funny.

Well then I guess I wouldn’t really know considering I’ve only been to three states. :P Although it might be nice to try some time. Whipped cream!

Yes, I did get that PM… it’s really sweet for Beckara! Yeah, I heard about that… Isn’t it rated R anyway? Speaking of, another awesome movie is Sweeney Todd! *ish totally obsessed* It’s only rated R for graphic bloody violence… but even when he cuts victims’ throats it looks like tomato juice. :erm: Actually it was really funny at parts too.

Yep, I suppose it does even out in a way… I love writing it too! Although most of the Rps have been COMPLETELY dead…. :erm: I really hope they start to pick up again… especially because I know we’ve all been extremely busy with junk..

*Bows* Thank you… and now I must present a new character… hopefully my last one for a while… I was thinking of bringing her into KAWEOTH perhaps… :eyeroll:

Woops, seems as though I slightly "forgot" about this thread too... oh well... at least we're all back somewhat again, right? ;)

I've never heard of that kind of chocolate... hmmm, but I guess for me any chocolate would be good enough. ;) Aw, I dunno if you'd gain that much... :P *high fives* ditto! roller coasters just make me sick to watch them... let alone ride on them. I guess I prefer to remain grounded. ;) me no like heights either. And you hear about so many accidents, granted there are probably less accidents than not, but still. I don't want to be on that one unlucky ride.

and I bet you most of the time the story really isn't that horrible. ;) you're probably just too critical... trust me, if you can see how I can be critical, I can see how you can be. :P
ooo, quoting Poe? lol, fun! :-D

I saw Sweeney Todd several Sundays ago. :P It wasn't totally bad... although I know I'm not as obsessed about it as you are/were. ;) it still was a tad graphic in some parts... and the first killing was the most shocking, I think. ;) but you're right there were some good, funny parts to it. And the acting and the songs were good... so it was a well-made, good movie... it was just dark which isn't always my style.

I know, but once summer comes I hope the RPs will revive. and then I'm worried about having to keep up with them. And I'll have to get back into the RP mood too...

Oh, I know Robyn! :-D it actually feels like I've known her forever because I read this post way back when so I've known about her long before I actually posted here. ;) anyway, another neat PotC charrie, Aramelian. :-D

Willie Nillie! it's wonderful to see you on here. :-D

stupid school anyway... :annoyed2: :P

It's alright... I haven't really had much time to reply to anything... right now I'm at my mom's boyfriend's house and he's got high speed internet! *ish in heaven*

Hm, well I'm not sure if it's only made in Pennsylvania, but w/e. Speaking of chocolate and gaining weight, we're supposed to be starting Weight Watchers/dieting... but I've been feeling rather icky lately with my sinuses, so I've been trying to rest lately. Ugh.. we went to a carnival two weekends ago and I went on a spinny ride... not good. Came off feeling horribly dizzy and with my sinuses acting so horrible - it wasn't a good combination. Yeah, you're right - I mean, people have died from airplane crashes and all - I wouldn't want to be one of those people either. It's one thing to crash on the ground, but falling out of the sky is definitely not on my agenda anytime soon.

Well, that's definitely a safe bet; I am really overcritical with all of my work. Other times I try to make it sound professional and it comes out sounding like crud instead. Yes, who doesn't love dear Edgar? ;-)

Ooh, that's awesome! Well, I don't blame you - I was a little wierded out the first time I watched Sweeney Todd, but the fact that Johnny Depp was singing... that kinda overruled the gory parts for me. And Mrs. Lovett is an absolutely brilliant character too. My friends and I have started some ST fanfiction, and I guess you know about my character Carmella Lovett. My story is mostly from her eyes. Aye, Tim Burton is usually always like that - dark, but with crude humor... for example, his remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny was a real nut in that one... didn't have to try too hard in that movie. :P

Yes, I'm sure they will. Everyone's just had so much to do I'm sure, and not only that but with allergies and everything kicking up, people are getting sick too. *Can't wait for air conditioning and absolute freedom* I hope Will gets more time in her schedule... :erm:

That's good then - I can't wait to start RPing with her.. and all of my new brainchildren! :) Aramelian? I like that... sounds exotic. :goofy:

Hey Rainbow Crayon! Nice to see you! Oh, you don't have to apologize. But thanks for the compliments! Yay Edward! :D

Keep on praying that the days will go faster until Summer finally arrives!

yay, I've finally gotten around to these threads! *throws confetti* although I've still been neglecting all RPs terribly.... :( I don't mean to, I just don't feel like RPing at all lately...

lol, high speed internet is amazing, isn't it? ;)

well, I hope it works out when you finally start feeling better, dear! *huggles* I'm sure everything will go fine! hm, how come I'm getting the vibe that that wasn't one of teh Aramel's brighter ideas? ;) I don't blame you at all though... that's exactly how I would feel. *shudders* I always step away from the pretty, spiny rides. :P No way would I want to be one of those people either... :hide: now I know most of the time it doesn't happen, but still. I like to remain grounded. Nope, mine neither. lol like sky diving.... ? :confused2: I would probably die!

I have kinda gathered that... but I know what you mean. Completely. but really, Ara, you neadent be that overcritical (easier said than done, yes). Especially with your graphics and such! You make some of the best graphics on the whole forum. and with poems... well, they just flow. :erm: there's really no forcing. and that last one you sent me was lovely! my thoughts exactly!

lol, pretty much my thoughts too. ;) and if I saw it again I might be more used to it and it might not be as bad. :P but watching JD sing was rather amusing... :teehee: Ah, Mrs. Lovett... I thought she was interesting as well, but rather... odd, you know? She left you wondering if she was bad or good or what she really was. Personally, I think she was just as bad as Sweeney. I mean, she kept so much from him. She was pretty selfish and cruel, I think... :erm: poor Sweeney! *huggles* even though he wasn't all that nice. :P ;) hmmm, I see... that's interesting, Ara... yup, that seems to be Tim Burtons' own, unique style. And it works for him. Oh, but that movie is SUCH good fun! I love it! :-D

yeah, hopefully... I just feel like I'm aiding them in dying. :erm: because I haven't been in the RP mood at ALL. :( and you are right... this is crunch time for schools and colleges so hopefully at the end of this month everyone will have a lighter load. I know. It will be great! :-D

that's what I thought too.... Aramelian... :teehee:

*dances in teh confetti* I know what you mean, PD... I haven't really felt like posting much, just reading what other people have to say. Although when it comes to BWE, I just want to squee!

It is.. I wish we would get it at our house... :( Then I wouldn't have to get off when someone wants to call.

No, somehow I find myself having a lot of un-bright ideas... but when I do get some good ones, they're usually awesome. :P See, I normally don't get like that though, it's just my stupid sinuses. :frust: One time I went on the Tilt-A-Whirl NINE TIMES IN A ROW! And I only felt a little queasy after that... and there was a bee in my cart so I didn't want to go back on again.

MUCH easier said than done, PD. Oh well, I guess it's just human nature, right? If you were stuck up though, you might not be that way... but why would you want to be like that? Those people are so dumb. :disgust: Aww, thank you! You're so much better with poems though... I guess we're even then! Until you've managed to surpass me in graphics making... then we'll need to have a talk. :teehee:

I thought it was amazing... his voice is so beautiful... but the whole time I kept picturing him as Jack Sparrow! Yeah, that was how the character was supposed to be portrayed and Helena Bonham Carter is so wonderful at acting... She was selfish - and it was her idea to stick the bodies in meat pies just so she could beat Mrs. Mooney... still, I thought Helena did a lovely job. And kudos to Tim Burton [my hero!] for having the idea to make it into a film.. I felt so bad for Sweeney! :( Stupid Toby... and I didn't really care much for Antony and Johanna's little storyline, maybe because it reminded me a bit of Will and Elizabeth, and you know I'm not too fond of that.

Don't say that, PD! You've got a lot written for BWE and KAWEOTH... and school isn't helping anyone else when it comes to AU... finals are coming up soon and everyone is starting to panic about which ones they need to take and study for.

AWE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON MAY 25!!!!! :pirate: Jeez, has it really been that long?

Aramelian! Squee! :teehee:

yup, yup... it's felt a bit like that for me lately too... I've been wanting more solitude and just making graphics and what-not lately. :erm: but I'm trying to force myself out of that. I need to post instead of just reading posts... considering I've pretty much read everything that needs to be replied to.

I wish you could too, Ara dear! I feel your pain completely! It used to be such a drag! :erm:

I guess that's better than having bright ideas that aren't really that great but just so-so, right? ;) I think so at least. Even if they do only come once in a while at least they're really amazing. And what I find happens normally is ideas will just happen. Like what happened with Beckara. No one ever came out and said "hey, let's do this." it was just kinda brought up and you thought it was cool so we built on it. ok, I see... well, that's hard for me to understand because I would always be like that. lol my stomach and my head can't take that much of all that twirling and whirling. :P

well, I know it is, but still. ;) hey that just reminded me! "Human nature... or... or fish nature." "sorry couldn’t resist, mate." :teehee: stuck up? umm, yeah, I really wouldn't ever want to be stuck up. then no one really likes you and it's just... snobby. Nah, not really... I don't think so at least. ;) aye, we're even. lol, surpass you in graphic making? ha! I'd love to see the day! :P

His voice is REALLY good! I can't believe he was so nervous about it! :P really? Jack Sparrow hardly came into my mind at all. Ok, maybe in several scenes it did, but not throughout the whole movie. I know that, but still it was just so... wicked, you know? I mean, of course she did a brilliant job at portraying her character, but still me thinks Mrs. Lovett was too evil for me. ;) I know! I felt bad for Sweeney too... although by the end I wasn't quite sure who to feel bad for any more. lol I thought their storyline was sweet. It added just a bit of light to the dark movie. and you're just crazy anyway... not liking Willabeth. Yup, me thinks teh Ara is insane. :P ;)

aww, well, thanks. Although I still don't feel like I'm pulling my fair share around here. :erm:

That's true (my mind has been so focused on Prince Caspian and Narnia lately that PotC has gotten *slightly* pushed back... although when I say slightly I mean slightly... ;)) ... it'll be one year since AWE in just a few weeks. wow, already? that's kinda sad! Where does the time fly? :lost:

I’m really sorry if I seem like I’m ignoring everything - I’m honestly not. I just never feel like posting. :( But I have been on another Beckara/Beckett spree, so there’s still hope.

Yeah, that was pretty cool… I’m so glad I took what you wrote the wrong way, or Beckara might never have been! :swoon: Those types of things usually have better results, which is why I suppose loose RP’s tend to do better than ones with a set plot. There’s more room to expand and ideas from different people that can add to the story. Oh, I know what you mean though.. I can usually stand the spinning to a point, and then I start getting sick. But since my head’s been funky, it looks like no theme parks for me at the moment. :(

 I just love how PotC quotes somehow make their way into every conversation, don’t you? :pirate: I seem to have a lot of stuckups in my high school, but I just try to ignore them and their perfect bodies, cell phones and million dollar houses. There’s nothing wrong with living an average, middle class life. I think it’s better that way because at least then you’ve got a head with a brain inside. :P Well it may be soon, since I’ve hit a creative slump.

Lol, the whole time I sat there, I was like, “Okay, this is NOT Jack Sparrow… think Sweeney Todd…” Didn’t really work though. Yeah, I suppose so. The whole point of it was to be wicked though, and portray humans as cruel, which most are. I don’t know. I can definitely see what you mean about Mrs. L being evil, but I also felt bad for her since she loved him and didn’t want to let him go. But she did do horrible things that were unnecessary. It’s kinda split down the middle for me, but she is my favorite character… because of her hair [and the fact that it was Helena Bonham Carter]. I liked the part where she was dreaming about life by the sea… “It’ll be so quiet, that no one’ll come by it, except a seagull…” Since I love the sea and all. Hey, I’m not insane! :boing: Well, maybe a little.

Meh, you’ll get back into it, especially during summer. Things’ll pick up, m’dear.

Not me… I’ve been so obsessed with PotC… I still didn’t get to finish watching DMC… *ish annoyed* :annoyed2: Yay for AWE’s first year!

lol, there's really no need at all to apoligize, Ara. ;) I've been falling behind on a lot of things here on AU too. There's just too much to do on here any more and not enough time to do it all. and then a few days ago (even yesterday, really!) I haven't fels like posting either. so I think what you mean...

same here! It's so weird how chance mistakes can make such wonderful things. :) Beckara? Never been? :swoon: wow, I can't even imagine that! yup, that's what I think too... loose RPs aren't bad at all in taht way. You can grow, like you said. It's not all set and HAS to happen a certain way... it's just whatever comes to mind is good. And not to mention those kinds of RPs are easier to start. ;) you don't have to think of a plotline or anything you can just go out and give a basic plot and start. lol yup, that's me... only I can't stand it to a point. :P that's too bad... :erm:

lol, yup! It's great... although for people who don't know what you're talking about it might not be. ;) But it does seem like PotC quotes can pop up out of nowhere. :teehee: ugh, those kinds of people are so annoying and all you can do IS just try to ignor them. :eyeroll: what's so fun about being stuckup anyway? Then you don't make any real friends you just make other snooty friends who probably only like you for your money. :erm: and no one has a perfect body... and who would want one anyway? we weren't meant to be stick thin. :eyeroll: no! Not at all! There's nothing wrong with being just average. In fact it might be better because then you don't get to be that really greedy, snobby type of person no one wants to be around. lol, although the way you said it is funnier... "I think it’s better that way because at least then you’ve got a head with a brain inside." so have I actually....

poor Ara! :P yeah, I suppose you're right there... and Tim Burton's films are never light and happy to begin with. ;) other than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... that's kinda funny. lol that's sorta what I meant by being confused at the end as to who to love and who to feel sorry for and who to hate. lol ;) because at some point I had all those feelings towards the characters! But me still think Mrs. Lovett was evilness. even if you couldn't help but feel bad for her sometimes... what she did was still cruel. :P but I can see where you'd be split... especially if she was your fave charrie. ;) lol, and her hair! the hair in that movie was so weird/funny! Very Tim Burton-ish. That was like the only light part in the whole movie too... :P maybe a little, huh? :teehee:

I dunno still... I'm really falling behind as it is because I just can't be at the compy 24/7! Which is what AU's coming down to demanding from me it feels like! So I dunno if I can survive if AU picks up... :hide:

you make me feel bad, Aramelian! :erm: I haven't been obsessed with PotC at all lately... :( but I'm positive once I watch it again I will be! And AWE is almost one year old! And then in July DMC will be 2 years old. anyway, like I told my brother and I like I told TT, Narnia is big now because it's new. People are still gushing over it and everything’s out there for it. But once it dies down a bit I'm sure all of my favorite movies will settle back into place. Then they will all be the same rank in my liking but they'll just swap with my moods." nothing's gonna change, I am sure. :) It's just like this for many movies... (although i do think Narnia has settled in higher than it was before... and it will probably remain there. ;))

btw, I saw your new character graphics several days ago! I love them! you did a great job, Sherlock! :teehee:

^Yepyep, that’s so true! And helping with Return of the Rings is putting more pressure on teh Sher, but I’ll be able to get it done.

I know, it’s such an evil thought! What would we do without our luffly Beckara?! :swoon: Actually, I kinda prefer them over ones with a plot that’s closely followed since the posters have more freedom. Aye, definitely! It’s so hard to get an RP started for me… I just feel like the opening post means so much and I never do a good job with it. :guilty: Speaking of starting posts, we’re going to start our Teenage Beckett RP soon, right? Are we keeping Running With The Tide, then? Or have you come up with something brillianter, Watsy? I’m not totally back in the PotC mode, but I’ve got a little trace of it mixing with LotR. :P

But then it’s funny when they look at you weird.. :goofy: Exactly, I guess it’s just because PotC is so darn quotable! :teehee: I honestly don’t know… I guess they just think they’re better than everyone else and the world should be served to them on a silver platter. That’s not the reality of it though. It’s like they’re living in an artificial world… Lol, why did that just bring to my mind the “Barbie” song? I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world, it’s fantastic, made of plastic… Glad to know I make you laugh with my quotyquoteness. *gaspeth* Teh PD has a brain? I never would have guessed! J/K.

Well, technically that’s not really Tim Burton’s film, since whoever wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory made it a bit happier… I really wish they’d make a Nightmare Before Christmas 2... It’s so popular, he really should consider it! [And it came out in 1993, my birth year! That makes it even specialer! :D] His films will normally do that to you. :P I want Mrs. Lovett hair! That would be so awesome… :stun: Ack, I’m so obsessed with Sweeney Todd… I bought most of the songs on iTunes the other day… and last night I couldn’t stop singing “Pirelli’s Miracle Elixir”… :duh: I’ve even got my friends singing it with me!

Exactly, AU is really picking up and I feel like I’m involved in so many things… Teh Ara’s head is going to explode! :frust:

I think you passed that “not obsessed with PotC” thing back to me now! Gah, LotR has taken such a priority lately. And I’m sure you’re still obsessed with Narnia… so many fandoms to choose from! I change like the wind. It’s not even funny anymore!

Meh, I might change them over summer when I have more time to sit down and work on AU related stuff instead of homework being crammed in at the last two weeks.
