Nature called. (comic relief)

"Excuse me," Nienna said. "I will be back in a moment."

As Nienna walked down the corridor, she spotted people going here and there doing something or other. The air was stuffy in the room, and she needed a break, which she often did.

When she was finished with her business, Nienna took the long way back to the meeting hall. Ho hum. she thought. Would it be rude if I did not go attend to our guest? Quickly, Nienna made her way to the guest wing, were she asked a guard where that despicable ambassador was staying. I should make this quick.

Eleniel blowed on the scroll to dry the ink then quickly rolled it up again. She could hear footsteps outside her room. She slotted the scroll back into her belt; she had brought a messenger with her who she could trust to deliver the letter to King Elessar.

Eleniel rose from her seat and walked over towards the door. She opened it with a wide smile, surveying the person standing there. "Hello," she said smoothly, resting her arm on the doorframe, ready to spring to the ground to unsheath the dagger strapped to her ankle at any moment in case this was some assassin. "How may I help you?"

"You are so very kind, Nienna," Eleniel replied. Her voice did not falter; it remained smooth and polite. The ability to remain courteous and smiling was essential to being an ambassador. "I can assure you that I am most comfortable here. As for now, I have no questions to direct to you, but I am sure that when I talk with the queen I will be able to satisfy any enquiries I might have." She smiled, her blue eyes kindly and sparkling. "Is there anything else?"
