(The more the merrier!)

Markus nodded to Luna. "I am sure the dwarves would appreciate that all very much." He smiled softly at Luna. She was easily excited. It was a breath of fresh air to him. "We shall stop in the next town over and see what they have to offer." He started as Luna grabbed his hand. He looked at her with eyes wide, wondering what was wrong and then she told him. He looked to where Luna was looking and right she was there was a figure walking along the path. Before he had the chance to study the figure, it disappeared into a tree. Markus laid a hand upon the hilt of his sword. "Stay close..." He murmured to Luna, glancing about the trees. When they neared the spot where the figure had disappeared, the figure suddenly jumped down from the trees. Markus took a step back in shock. As he surveyed the figure he found it was a female elf. Being one of his own kind he felt more at ease and released the hilt of his sword. "Mae govannen," said Markus with a bow of his head. It had been a long time since he had been able to use his native language.

She quirked her head at him. What had he just said? She looked at the other elf "I'm Luna" she grinned at her.

Sirel smiled at the elvish greeting, but from the look that the elf's companion had given him, it seemed as though it would be best to speak in Westron. "I'm Sirel," she said.

"Well met." He translated as he noticed her tilted head. "And I am Markus," He said tilting his head to the woman.

Sirel nodded in acknowledgement. "'Tis a pleasure to meet you. Where would you be travelling this fine day?" And it was indeed a fine day - the sun was shining brightly above them.

"We are on our way to Lothlorien. Our plan is to take the White Mountain route. Perhaps make a few friends in our Dwarrow counterparts." His nose wrinkled slightly, knowing the distaste many dwarves had for elves.

She quirked an eyebrow. "Lothlorien?" she repeated. "What a coincidence! I too am heading to the Golden Wood, and from there to Imladris."

"Oooh! You should travel with us!" Luna again became excited, her hands going to clasp in front of her and her blue eyes twinkling.

Sirel chuckled at the young elf's enthusiasm. "Excellent idea," she responded. Turning to Markus, she added, "Unless you have a problem with it, I would certainly enjoy travelling with you."

She grinned and held on to Markus's arm. "Please, it shall be fun!" she grinned at him, her eyes turning a bit soft, thankful he was helping her.

Sirel found herself hoping that Markus would say yes. She looked forward to traveling with the odd pair - and, truth be told, she was very curious. The younger, the lady, didn't seem to know elvish, which was surprising.

"Feel free to join us. I am sure it shall make for a more interesting journey." Markus grinned, his eyes bright. "Although I did promise to stop by in the next town to pick up some gifts for the Dwarrows. Is that alright?"

She tutored her head, grinning at both of them. This would be fun!

(Gah i've just noticed another flaw. The White Mountains are not home to Dwarves, but to the Army of the Dead. The range had no passes really, except for the path of the dead. I wonder if the trio would like to continue onto that path or go around the mountains?)
