Haldir blinked in shock as the train thundered down the hill, the force of it nearly blowing him off as it picked up speed. He swung himself onto the side of the speeding train and held on tightly, slowly pulling himself up towards Drogo's cart.

"Drogo!" He stared up at the cackling hobbit incredulously.

"Haldir!" Drogo yelled and screamed from excitement as he moved over to allow the elf in the cart, "Isn't it fun?"

Haldir pulled himself up forcefully into the seat, his head jerking backwards as the train lurched. He clung onto the seat for safety, since the safety belts were locked and he couldn't get one on. "Fun?" he repeated, not sure if he heard properly.
"Are you hurt?" he asked hesitantly, unsure of what to think of all the unhealthy lurching and speeding.

"Not at all," Drogo assured Haldir, "Why would you ask that?"

"Ai! Eru!" Valiana exclaimed as she watched the scene that played before them. She breathed a sigh of relief as Haldir climbed into the car, but her fear for him and Drogo had yet to abate. "Where will the cart lead?" she asked Smeag.

Valiana looked at Smeag skeptically, mistrusting any metal thing that seemed to move on its own. "How can you be sure this is not one of Sauron's traps?" she questioned, still eyeing the ride with scorn.

"What is it with these people and Sauron," Smeag whisphered to herself. "Mainly becaue I've been on it before," Smeag told Valiana with slight sarcasm, "And look. I'm still here now."

"We have had dealings with the Dark Lord, young one." Valiana replied to her whispered comments, her elven ears catching everything the girl said. "His servants come in many forms, and when you lose kin at the hands of a Deceiver you will be wary of him as well." she stated simply. She studied the girl for a moment, wondering if she could still trust the mortal. "Yes, I see you before me. Then tell me this, has anyone not made it back?" she questioned.

"Not on this," Smeag told Valiana with confidence.

Drogo screamed, "Another! Another! Another!" as the rollercoaster train went through the final strand. One last hill came, and the train went right through the barn. "That was so cool," Drogo told Haldir as the train slowed down and approached exit, "Let's do that again!"

Haldir stared at Drogo. "Are you not frightened?" he asked him, not quite able to believe that Drogo wasn't even a slight bit afraid. "You may be carting yourself straight into the Enemy's outstretched arms!" It suddenly dawned on him how much the ride looked like a dragon... long, slithering, and it moved by itself. "This ride is perilous!"

"All right. All right," Drogo comforted Haldir, "We will go on a different one that doesn't like like a dragon." Drogo exited the cart once the bars came up and dashed down to see Valiana and Smeag, squirt bottle in hand.
