"First, I think we should get some rooms at the local inn and get cleaned up, then go get you your clothes, weapons, and supplies." she offered a small smile, though she knew he couldn't see it. "The people here are usually friendly, but if you run into trouble, find me before responding."

A pause, then: "No. I am not." there was unreadable emotion in her voice. So long she had been alone...so long had she sat in the shadows of her misery, had been tormented by her demons. Would this change it? She glanced at him, wondering what exactly would change.
