"Yes. I am yours. Take me away!" she took his hand, grinning impishly. She was head over heels in love with this amazing, kind, sweet, loving man. And she couldn't waitto have the wedding. She grinned.

He took her hand and led her out of the room. They walked down the hall towards her room. He turned the corner and then saw the last person either of them would wish to see, knocking on Nienna's door, clearly looking for her. He had his back to them so they could slip away unnoticed if she wished. He turned to her as if to ask what it is she wanted to do.

She looked at Elthor's back, and whispered to Niko "I really need a different dress...but I don't want to go near him." she looked at Niko, and, deciding she was safe with him in whatever they did, she whispered again "you decide." and she gripped his hand a bit tighter. Unsure of what he would do or of what would happen.

He surveyed Elthor with a slight tremble in his hands. He longed to strike him, make him pay. Yet Nienna's words yesterday came back to him. He thought carefully and quickly and decided to turn away and walk away moving Nienna in front of him so as to block her from view.
I can not risk getting in trouble and leaving her by herself, defenseless. There are other ways of retribution. I have the one thing he want's yet does not deserve.

''Let us go to back to my room and we shall ask a servant to go and fetch you a dress Or i could go'' he said to her. His priority was her safety.

She nodded, "alright. Let's call for one of the servants." she smiled, and soon they reached his room again. She walked to the window, loving the view "it's going to be a beautiful day." she turned and smiled, "especially knowing I have you by my side."

''How could it not be...I am quite handsome'' he said giving her a slight nudge with his arm. ''though I shall have a beautiful wife soon''
Just before he shut the door he saw a servant, '' excuse me, would you be so kind as to discreetly fetch Lady Nienna another dress? Any preference?'' he asked looking over his shoulder towards her

She snorted and laughed at his comment. Then said "I believe I am in the mood for...something silver, if you please. Thank you!" She called after the servant. Then when he had closed the door, she sidled up to him "how soon, did you say?" she said slyly

''As soon as you wish'' he said to her. ''Though let us first speak to your parents, just to be sure. Though I doubt they'd refuse, you have done very well for yourself'' he laughed as he kissed her.
''Very well indeed'' he added, his eyes twinkling.

"of course, I would not do it before speaking to them." she smiled and kissed him back. "I have done well for myself indeed! In finding myself a most wonderful future husband." she hugged him, sighing in contentment,and laid her head on his chest.

''As I have found an amazing wife'' he put his arm around her and spoke while waiting for the servant to return.
''We shall be quite the team. Both strong, funny, blessed with almost god-like looks, our future looks bright indeed, doesn't it?''
He took her hand and kissed while the other gently stroked her hair.

She giggled at his words "Godlike?" she shook her head at him now as he kept going. Her own arms moving up to around his neck. " we shall no doubt have gorgeous children." she laughed again

He laughed '' I had not even considered that. Very true indeed! ''
He looked out the window, the sun was shining brightly making the view that much better.
He pulled up a chair in front of the window ''come let us enjoy the view. And each others company'' he added as he sat down and gently pulled her onto his lap.

She encircled his neck with one arm. Leaning her head against his, she looked out the window over the city. The sun was shining brightly, turning the city into a magnificent sight of glowing white stone. "and to think today could have been the end of it all." she murmured. She was still shocked at the events that had happened. She touched the necklace he had given her, marveling at it. This man had given her everything he had, to make her his. To protect her. She had lost nothing but her heart, which she freely gave, and had gained the world in return. "No one can even compare to you, Niko." she said with utmost sincerity.

He looked down at her, touched by her words.
''It could have been the end'' he said slowly. ''Instead it is the beginning'' He gave her a warm smile, leaning his head against hers.
He looked down at her, hardly daring to believe all that had happened, not sure if he was in a dream or not.
''I have never felt greater love'' he said softly kissing her head.

She smiled softly "A wonderful beginning." she was at peace. "neither have I." there were not other words she could say to explain it. There was a gentle knock at the door as the servant returned with the dress. Nienna sighed, reluctant to get up. She gave him a quick peck on the cheek before getting up and retrieving the dress. She unfolded it, laying it out on the bed to look at it. It was soft silvery grey, falling in such a way it looked like melted silver. It was another sleeveless one, she noted happily. The servant had been good enough to include her head circlet. The circlet itself was silver, coming down to a point in the middle. Embedded within the point was a single, sparkling sapphire. She looked around for a curtain to get dressed behind.

Niko looked at the dress, admiring it. How pretty she will look.
He got up and moved towards the door.
''I will wait outside while you dress, and when you are finished, we will go and make our engagement official and put an end to Elthor's hope of having you.''
He gave her a quick kiss before leaving the room and closing the door quietly behind him.
It shall not be long now he thought while silently wondering if Elthor had spoken to Faramir yet.
