Finishing her soup, Arwen placed down the bowl and unshouldered her white bow. She traced the intricate carvings on the light wood; carvings of the woodland elves of Doriath. She had never fitted in at court. So she had chosen to instead spend fifty years of her life guarding the boarders of that land. Was that enough? Re-shouldering the longbow, she leaned back against the wall and was silent.

Anira finished her soup and watched silently as Deawen departed from the camp. For a moment, she debated whether it would be a good idea to keep an eye on the mortal woman, but in the end decided to wait. After all, she [Deawen] had proven time and time again to be skilled in a blade and able to take care of herself. With that she drew out her twin daggers and began to sharpen the already keen blades.

Arwen rose from her seat and looked around the small space. The atmosphere seemed pretty tense. She folded her arms. They had stopped hurting so much now from the werewolf scratches.

Sheathing his sword, Turwaithion moved on to his bow. He scowled as he examined the damadged fletching. None of his shafts, or, very few, in any case, would fly true. Muttering to himself, he returned the shafts to his quiver, and balled his cloak up behind his head, drawing his dirk from his boot. His eyes glazing over, the elf entered sleep, his dirk gripped in his hand

Arwen glanced over at Turwaithion, who had fallen asleep. She looked away. Everyone else was silent. There was nothing to say, she supposed. She did not feel she could rest at this moment. She gripped her stinging arms and leant back against a wall.

The hours wore on uneventfully. When Turwaithion awoke, he noticed the absence of Deawen. Frowning, he slipped his dirk into his boot, and buckled on his sword "Arwen, Anira. Come, Deawen has not yet returned. we should search for her" he said, grimacing.

Deawen returned to the camp and settled herself in a corner. She had thought about pulling a prank on Turwaition but seeing the dirk in his hand put an end to the idea. Instead she wrapped her cloak around her and curled up to sleep. She didn't sleep right away though, she found a small pebble and picked it up then with lightly tossed it over at Turwaition. If she couldn't pull a prank close at hand she would do it from a distance. THe pebble bounced off his boot and Deawen had to choak back a giggle and squeal of delight.

"I believe Deawen will be fine," Arwen said dryly, her Elven sight spotting Deawen sitting in a corner, throwing a pebble at Turwaithion's shoe.

Turwaithion mutterd something as he saw Deawen return. "Remind me to set up a watch next time" he muttered. Then, he straightened up "Come. We must keep moving. I'l leave a note for Durion and Calam." he said, heading for the entrance.
((Ooh. confusion.))

Deawen frowned, " Nothing happened while you slept... other than a goblin raid attack, gaint bats swarming all around..it's been a very boring night." she said in her driest tone which wasn't very good because she kept surpressing giggles. She found another pebble and tossed at him this time it hit his shoulder.

Arwen heaved a sigh and sat down on one of the benches, in no mood to laugh at jests. She wrapped her cloak around her shoulders further and closed her eyes.

Turwaithion picked up the pebble and flicked it toward's Deawen's shoulder, connecting lightly "Very funny" he said sarcastically, though unable to stop grinning himself

Deawen hadn't slept but she was content. " I thought it was" she said lightly scooping up her things and dumping them into a saddle bag. Deawen found several more pebbles and stuffed them into a pocket why she wasn't even sure but she had a vague idea. She went outside and sneezed twice as the bright sunlight blinded her momentarily.

Turwaithion scribbled down a note explaining thier departure for the two wardens, then followed thr rest of the party out, his hand resting on his sword. Mounting Fyrn, he urged her into a trot "Let us be off. We have far to go yet."

Deawen saddled her horse and quickly pulled herself into the saddle. She followed Turwathion quietly.

((see ya))
Turwaithion rode level with Turwaitheil as the group tore through the forest. The elf lod heard a loud crack suddenly, and he was thrown from Fyrn's back. Cursingf, he struggled to his hands and knees. Then, all to familiar cries and shrieks filled the air. Fyrn struggled up, after stumbling. Turwaithion's heart sank ans he saw the obstacle. Calam and Durion's bodies lay side by side, riddled with orc arrows. Drawing his sword, Turwaithion set his jaw. He would make the orcs pay for the death of those two elves. Shafts zipped from the trees, and Turwaithion dropped, ducking the salvo.
((any time now, Turwaithil can die))
