Considering what she said, he had to admit she had a point. ''What you say is true. I can see what worries you.'' He spoke again, ''What is it you wish to do?'' he was curious as to where she intended to go, if not Rohan.

She shook her head slowly "I don't know...perhaps I will build a small cottage alongside the ocean. Somewhere." she set her chin on her knees. That did sound good. A small cottage where she would be at peace. Maybe back in the woods, not far from a beach. She would have a small garden. She smiled softly to herself "What of you?"

Crixus considered her question. What was he going to do? He knew he would have to remain far from the town and the public, lest Abrax found him, but he wasn't sure what he wished to do. Looking to Eonwe he spoke, forcing his eyes to meet hers. ''I made you a promise, that I would keep you safe. I intend to keep my word. I shall see you to that cottage''

She blinked as she looked at him, then a relieved smile broke on her face. "Thank you. I would very much like that." she got shy again and had to drop her eyes from his. "I can't wait."

His eyes also left hers after offering her a slight smile in response. That was all he needed to do for now, keep her safe and lead her to a new home. Would he stay after? Would she even want him to stay? He was currently at a loss at what lay before him after he had helped her.

She felt sleepy, a small yawn catching her off guard. She lay her head back again on the tree trunk, her eyes driving closed after one last look at the moon. Soon she was dreaming about her little cottage. Her life would change entirely. She frowned in her sleep slightly as she saw little children running around the cottage. She wasn't even thinking about courting anyone, getting married or having children. Ah, well, dreams would be dreams. Unpredictable.

He was still lost in his own thoughts before he turned to see she had fallen asleep beside him. The moonlight was shining upon them, he could see her face quite clearly. For reasons unknown to him, he wasn't able to look away from her as she slept. Odd, considering he could still scarcely meet her eyes. He took another drink of water and waited for daybreak.

She woke to the sound of birds chirping, and groaned when she tried to move. Her back still hurt, especially after being pressed against the bark of the tree trunk. Her eyes cracked open and squinted in the light. She rubbed them, her voice a hoars grumble "Morning." she was hardly a morning person.

Breaking the silence, he heard her speak. He had not heard her stirring. ''Good morning'' he replied. He could see she was still in some pain, no doubt from the flogging she took. He held out his water to her he gave her a command. ''Drink'' he said politely but firmly. She needed it, the amount of walking they had done and were going to repeat today.

She was about to object, she didn't want to take his water, so she complied and took a small sip before handing it back to him "Thank you." she stood and stretched her arms above her head, her yawn was huge.

He could see her reluctance but was grateful she drank. Looking around, he took in their surroundings. It did not look as though there was a living thing in sight apart from the birds that sung about them. Sitting up, he could just make out the town they had left behind in the distance. No longer would they be slaves. It was in the past now.

She leaned against the tree, still standing, and watched him curiously. "I'm sorry you didn't get sleep last night." she honestly regretted falling asleep like that. She driopped her gaze from him and stared at the ground. Why did she feel so shy around him? She didn't know.

''Do not apologize. I do not mind'' He saw her looking to the ground. Guilty? He walked over to her slowly, before reaching out hesitantly to lay his hand on her shoulder, as she had once done for him.

She jumped slightly as his hand touched her shoulder. She raised her head and blinked at him, unsure of why he did this. Her cheeks were red, she realized. When she realized she was blushing, her green eyes got very roun before she dropped her head again "Tha...thank you." she stuttered out.

As she jumped at his touch he withdrew his hand. As she blushed up at him, he began to think he had made her uncomfortable. Yet as she thanked him he felt compelled to ask what for. In his eyes he was merely keeping a promise. ''What for?'' he blurted out before he could stop himself.
