Rinkemen walked next to Radiel, but kept his eyes on the elf. He had to stubbornly agree with her thinking but she was still a bit too harsh towards such a young girl.
"How are you faring Radiel?"

"Don't worry about Airain, she is just trying to help you, when we reach Edoras we will be bale to rest for a while."

Radiel smiled slightly and nodded. "I'm doing fine, sir." she said. Radiel hated showing sign of weakness, so she kept her weariness to herself, while continuing onward the best she could. She looked at Airain as Rinkemen spoke of her. She seemed lonely, Radiel thought. She sighed softly. "How far is Edoras?" she asked her teacher, swallowing a yawn,

"I'm not sure. We're off the track so it could be further or shorter then I hoped. We just have to put our trust in her."

Radiel nodded again. At once, she heard something in the distance, coming from behind. The sound came closer and closer. She looked over her shoulder from time to time, but saw nothing. As the sound approached, it almost seemed to Radiel that it sounded like horses' hooves. She looked at Rinkemen, her eyes asking if he could hear it too.

Borum put his pipe away and said something to his cousin who smiled.

"Well you could sleep near the caravan on the ground, but perhaps you have enough taste to sleep in a human bed for the night? The king will meet us probably so... an elf probably finds a bed in his city..."

Radiel frowned, stopped walking and turned around to face the horizon of where they had come. They were no longer in the forest. The otherwise rather muddy ground had turned plain, and stretched far, longer than an eagle eye could tell.
"Someone is coming our way with great haste." Radiel said.

Rinkemen drew his sword and looked toward Airain.
"Airain! Wait! Something's coming!"
He tunred to look from the way they came.

Airain turned her head and her gaze drifted to a figure riding upon a horse, accompanied by at least two other horses. Airain made a quick dash back to Radiel and Rinkemen.
"From what I can see, I do not think you'll be needing that..but I could be wrong." Airain said as she drew her bow and notched an arrow in it, lowering it by her side.

Rinkemen kept his sword up. He could see himself in the sheen of the blade and smiled to himself.
"Who could be following us now?"
He glanced at Radiel.
"Didn't you bring a weapon?"

"The ground will be fine." Rhan smiled "Much more comfatable than any mortal made bed- exept maby drwaf. Those beds are quite good as well" A grin played about her features.

Radiel stayed quiet and looked at Rinkemen. A weapon? she thought. Radiel had never learned anything about either swords, nor bows and arrows. It was something that had always facinated her, but she had never had the chance. Surely, she had held a sword and tried aiming with a bow, but never used it. As an answer to Rinkemen's question, Radiel shook her head, rather embarrased.

Rinkemen pulled a dagger, in a leather sheath from his belt and handed it to her.
"That will have to do for now. When we get to Edoras I will have to teach you some basics. Just stab anyone unfriendly with that."
He nodded to her and turned his focus back to the unknown ridder heading their way.

Radiel stared at the dagger with surprise and amazement. She rose her gaze to look at Rinkemen and Airain who were both awaiting the arrival of the stranger. Radiel took a deep breath and carefully held the given dagger by her side.

"I'm..my name is Rowen," Rowen responded awkwardly. It had dawned upon her that they must appear very odd indeed, a girl and a young man, without horses, much provender, or apparently any idea where they were going, wandering not far from Minas Tirith as they were. She subconsciously edged away from Alyan; the grudge she held against him still remained.
"I'm fine," she said lamely, in response to the Lady's offer of her horse. "...thank you," Rowen added quickly, afraid she had been rude.
