"That will take a very long time," he chuckled to Sirel before looking to Marylyn as she began to descend the mighty tree.
Luna, Markus and Sirel had been shown to their rooms by Marylyn. She gave Luna some dresses to choose from and change into for dinner. Sirel received the same. "It is nice to see you back again," she said, bowing her head to her in greeting. Lastly Markus was shown to his old room. It was all very much the same, although someone had been updating his clothes. Markus assumed it had been Marylyn.
Once Markus was changed and refreshed he walked down to the bottom of the stairs to wait for Luna and Sirel.

Luna spotted Markus and fairly glided over to him. "You look so happy." she said softly behind him, and it lightened her heart to see him back in his home. A beautiful home, she thought. She wouldn't mind staying there. The trees, the setting, it had an overwhelming sense of safety for her. She felt at peace, as it showed in her relaxed face and happy eyes.

Markus twirled around to look at Luna. His eyes widened as he took in her appearance. "You look amazing, absolutely breathtaking." He smiled softly. "Lothlorien has certainly become you. Do you like it here?" He asked, grinning at her comment. "I am happy to be home. Thank you for bringing me. I do not think I would have been able to do it without you and Sirel. I do detest travelling on my own."
Marylyn glided over to the couple. "Hello brother-mind and Luna," her eyes twinkled as she spoke Luna's name. Marylyn did not know how she would repay Luna for delivering her brother back to her. Marylyn was sure there was no gift that could match Luna's generousity. "Where is Miss Sirel?" She asked, glancing over their shoulders.

Luna blushed slightly. "Thank you." she said with a small, polite dip of her head, "I do like it here, and fear I may become too use to it." she smiled. "And nonsense, thank YOU for bringing me here, my lord." she dipped when Marylyn entered. "Lady Marylyn," she said in greeting, then looked around. "I believe she must still be in her room."

"I am sure she shall be down shortly," Markus answered. "Although I do not doubt she will be enjoying her freedom in the trees," he grinned. "Thank you for keeping my dress sense up to date," he said, winking at Marylyn. Although on all fronts he was excstatic to be home, he could feel the pain that eminated from his sister. His disappearance had clearly been a great loss to her. With no parents, she would have felt utterly alone. However Markus had caught the different surname. He assumed she had married, but he could ask her that later. For now he just wanted to enjoy the comforts of his home.
"I see," Marylyn answered, growing uneasy at Markus' silence. Had he noticed her new name. Guilt shot through her. Marylyn had longed to prolong her wedding until Markus returned, but as the years went by it became less likely that he was alive. She felt it unfair to keep her love waiting and so she wed him and had spent many years of happiness with him that she was sure would continue. Marylyn turned back to Luna. "I do hope you found the dresses acceptable. I was sure they were the right size. Are you quite comfortable?" she asked intently.

"Oh! They are wonderful, and yes, they are comfortable, although much too elaborate for me!" she said with a light laugh. She decided to leave brother and sister to talk, "I believe I shall go for a walk before the feast." she said, and dipped into a small curtsy, then glided away. Her eyes rook in the place as she went, hardly being able to believe she was here, in the fabled Lothlorien, a place few got to see. She walked amost the trees, and her eyes looked up to behold the moon through the branches. She stopped walking and stood, looking up at what had been her only friend for so many years. It was a familiar face, one that she could sit and look at for hours on end.

Sirel danced lightly all over the room, running her fingers over the memories. It took several minutes before she remembered she should go look for Luna and Markus. She swiftly donned a green dress, remniscent of her woodland kin, and dashed out of the room and down the stairs, leaving her boots behind and going barefoot. "Hello!" she said breathlessly as she ran up to Markus and Marylyn.

"Thank you." Marylyn said to Luna, watching as she walked off between the trees. Her eyes darted back to Markus. "What happened?" She asked, a sense of urgency in her voice. Markus groaned slightly. "Sister I have not been here long...Can we talk about his another time? I do not want to relive it just yet." Marylyn nodded. However, the burning desire to know what had happened to her brother did not ease. Marylyn pasted a smile upon her face as Sirel joined them. "Hello my lady. I do hope you have been taken care of. If you have any other needs do not be afraid to ask." Markus chuckled softly. His heart fluttered with the happiness that was evident in his companions' eyes. "Sister-mine I do not think there is anything you could bring Sirel that can make her more happy than what she is in this moment. Come, we shall find Luna. We do not want to be late for dinner." Marylyn nodded, straightening her gown. Her nose wrinkled slightly. She had grown used to wearing her woodland armour. However, the fine gowns of Lothlorien suited her well.

Luna continue to watch the moon, her silvery white gown sparkling in the etherial light. Her hair was blue-black in this light. She liked the mystery that seemed to radiate from the pale globe in the sky. She smiled to it, then began walking back through the trees, the smile still on her face.

The trio met her half way. Marylyn stepped toward her, offering her arm to her. "I am sorry to pull you away from the moons light, but your company is needed." Marylyn chuckled softly. "There will be plenty of time to gaze at the moon, dear Luna. If you stay long I will take you to the best place to view the moon," she winked to Luna, her voice lowered. "It is my secret place, but I will be more than delighted to share it with you." She rejoined Markus and Sirel. "Let us go. A huge feast has been made in your honour, it would not bode well for you all to be late," she teased as she took of on a brisque walk through the trees. Her eyes were bright with happiness. Happiness simply radiated from her.

Luna grinned "Thank you," she laughed. "it is so beautiful here!" she exclaimed, happiness making her glow. "This makes me just, want to start a new life." she followed the others, her grin never wavering or fading.

"Maybe you should," Markus murmured, raising his brow to her. "I certainly would not mind if you stayed here a while. I do not think anyone would mind," he chuckled. "After all you are my heroine. My kin want to give thanks to you for that." Markus winked to Luna playfully, before taking Sirel's arm and leading her to the feast.
The four of them entered a small clearing in the forest where several elves had gathered and were busy setting the table with elegant foods and delicious wines. Marylyn brought them to the top of the table and pulled out their chairs for them. "Sit and relax. The feast will start soon." Her eyes floated to one of the men. He was carrying a large platter of turkey. "Haldir!" she called, dancing over to him. She took the platter from his hands and set it on the table before jumping into his open arms.
~I know Gladomain was not Haldir's surname. I just liked the sound of it hehe

Luna watched Markus take Siriel's arm, and a small twinge of something went through her. She didn't know what. She walked to the table and stood, watching the activity. She watched Marylyn jump into another elf's arms, and smiled softly, wanting that same thing. She looked around. "Is there anything I can help with?"

Haldir looked over his wife's shoulder to Luna. "Don't be silly. You are our guest of honour." He leaned down to kiss Marylyn before disappearing back into the kitchens. Marylyn glided back over to them. "The feast will begin shortly," she said a smile broadening her face.
A few moments later there was the sound of the dinner horn and a few more elves filed in and took their place at the table. The last to join were the Lord and Lady of Lothlorien. They, as always, received a standing ovation before they all sat back down again. They took their seats near the top of the table. Celeborn raised a glass of red wine. "Friends and family I am happy to have you all home again. Tonight we eat and drink to your health. I can see you are all hungry so I will make this quite sharp. Thank you all for coming and please enjoy." He sat back down and began to place portions of food onto his own and Galadriel's plate.
Haldir done the same for his wife. Marylyn smiled softly. "Markus I believe you have met Haldir before?" Markus, who had not quite regained himself from his first glimpse of his sister's husband, nodded briefly. Marylyn chuckled softly. "Markus has always admired your work, dear."
Haldir chuckled softly. "I do my best. I am glad to have you home again Markus and you too Sirel." His eyes floated to Luna. "I am sure you are growing weary of thank yous, but I must also offer you mine. Thank you for bringing Markus back to us."

Luna followed suit, watching all the activity with open curiosity. When Haldir spoke to her, then turned. "Please, do not thank me. Anyone else would have done the same thing." she whispered. She had simply done the right thing, she was no heroine, or savior. She was simply trying to do the right thing.

Marylyn chuckled softly. "So modest Miss Luna." Her hand reached out to settle on Luna's. Her eyes caught hers briefly, the dazzled with happiness. She winked to her before turning back to eat her food. Haldir watched his wife intently. "Melin ceni hin lîn síla i 'eladhach" he said softly, leaning back in his chair, having finished with his meal. Marylyn moved with him as though bound to him by an invisible tie.
Galadriel cleared her throat slightly. "I belive you came here on a mission Luna," her voice sounded in Luna's head, knowing this would not be a conversation she would want all to hear. "I will be happy to be of service to you. I just hope you have thought this through. The mirror shows us many things. Things from the future, from the present and the past. The pictures it shows us are not always pleasent. I hope you have prepared yourself for that." Galadriel was next to catch Luna's eyes, she held them with a careful, yet steady gaze.
