"Of course not," Eleniel said sweetly, returning the other's gaze with a brighter blue. "No one more than I, save my king, wants peace between our two countries."

Deawen turned her attention back to the garden and the tour. " We have spent considerable amounts of gold and time into these gardens, this fortress nearly fell into disrepair, but I think we saved it just in time." she commented quietly. Next was the stables Deawen's favorite part of the whole fortress, if she wasn't found at her Queen's side or in her chambers she was in the stables. " Peace starts with a small and simple seed, don't you agree Eleniel?" she asked holding out a small handful of hay to a horse, that ate it greedily. " Peace can be sown into even the most tainted soil, after all grass grows back over a burned and scorched field."

Vanmoriel sighse as they left to hall and then turned to the counsellors.
"Now we even have to prepare a dinner.", she rolled her eyes and sar down.
"The king of Gondor must be kind of rude, to send an ambassador without telling us before."
She stood up again and walked over to the window, spotting Deawen and Eleniel, she waved and smiled gently.
"We need specialities. Send hunters and get the cooks.", for a moment she thought and then added: "And only invite those people that are completely allegiant.", she waited a moment and then she continued angrily. "So, what are you waiting for?"

Eleniel smiled at Deawen, wondering how half-edged her words exactly were. Her mind was fixed on Minas Tirith and the Witch-King's attack on it. After all, she had been there. She had heard the awful screams as the orcs marched on the white city. She could hardly bear to be here beside these people, who acted as innocent as anything. They had probably played a part in the attack.

Deawen with years of practice was able to sense how much effect her words had on people. She decided it was time to back off. " I am sure you are tired of hearing me drone on about the fortress. And your long journey must have left you with shell of your former self" she spoke kindly, and for once with out the laced words. Motioning back towards the center of the fortress. Deawen snapped her fingers and the servant that was behind her stepped forward. " Take Ambassador Eleniel, to her chambers so she can relax without being bothered." she said, the servant nodded silent with a bowed head.

Eleniel smiled. "Thank you," she said politely, glancing at the servant, wondering if he was playing a part in some trick, or was just some ordinary serving man to guide her to her room. "I'm not too tired, thankfully."

Name: Nienna Elensar
Race: Elf
Age: 1350 years old.

Appearance: http://ladyfish.deviantart.com/art/ELF-COLORED-8221583
http://pu.deviantart.com/art/elf-35481231
(I know they're a little different, but the first one is a little softer and the second one is a little suggestive looking if you ask me, and those show her two personas.)

Personality: Quarky, and takes joy in nature and loves animals, but those things often get her in trouble. As assistant head of the military (right after the Queen herself [if that's okay]) she has a bloodthirst that may or may not be curable, depending what happens to her in the future.....

Other: Basically, Nienna has two personalities (like Lucy from Elfen Lied.) Her first is nice and lovely. The second is dark and ravenous. Her first personality often gets her in trouble (as I already said) and her second is what got her to the top of the military. (BWAHAHA!) The Queen goes to her during times of "political strife" looking for effective stratagies. (only if that's cool with everyone.)

Cyrith, the quiet one of the counselors, looked up as Vanmoriel introduced Eleniel, the ambassador of Gondor. Cyrith did not know anything about the country. She was more of a neutral nature, not one for really taking sides. She wasn't sure why Vanmoriel had brought her in, but she never dared question the daughter of the Witch King's reasons. She rose and tipped her head to her queen and then faced the Gondorian.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Eleniel," Cyrith said and in a soft voice.

Looking when the door opened, Nienna bowed her head in respect for the messenger of Gondor. Today, she was in a good mood, so she almost wanted to make peace with Gondor. "Suilaid" she said.

Eleniel inclined her head at what appeared to be the two other counsellors of the queen. Her bright blue gaze swept over them, and she smiled guardedly. She was not excited at the prospect of spending time with servants of Angmar.

In passing the great hall the servant quickened his step. " this way" he said taking a side corridor, up a short flight of steps that spiraled to the right. Deawen took a slower route back to the great hall where her queen and company remained. She didn't want to seem to eager, though she did have interesting information. She found it wise to appear perfectly calm. Upon entering the hall, she walked past the others straight to Vanmoriel.
She had a snippet of the conversation it concerned her that she did hear it though she had reports concerning it, it still worried her that if she heard what was being said, halfway down the back corridor...eavsdropping would be easier. " Your Majesty, " she began with a deep curtsy. " forgive for overhearing, but I beleive, there is a reason for King Elessar to send an ambassador unannounced..."

Eleniel found her way to her chamber and closed the door behind her, her mind racing. She paced round the room with a frown. These people were maintaining their nice, poor little innocent people of Angmar routine and they weren't giving up. Eleniel suspected them of planning against Gondor, she would report to the king on this. Most of all her mind was pointed towards the new queen, the one she suspected most of all.

"You mean he wants to prove us? He wants to see our reaction?", she smiled. "Yes, probably. Well, slightly too late, isn't it?", she laughed and then suddenly stopped.
"Who will come to our little party?", she asked, without real interest.
A servant handed her a piece of paper, the names of the guests were listed carefully and also their rank and status.
"Well, only 30 guests. We should send this ambassador away as soon as possible. We must unite the folk of Angmar. 30 combatants are not enough."

"What do you think of that one?" Nienna asked the council after Eleniel left the room. "She just looks like she's trying to bring back negative news to the king. That's what I think. Why else would Gondor try to catch us off guard? Meddling in our business at times of our political infancy. Not good, not good at all." In her mind, Nienna though of ways the ambassador could have come to some fatal end without any blame towards the queen. She decided against it. Hmm... Maybe an alliance would serve as a good cover to find out what they want. For a short while though... not a long time. she thought.

" That is the idea, King Elessar sent the ambassador unannounced to catch us off guard. So that we have no time to cover up any plots or schemes...luckily for us we had already anticipated this and had time to snip off loose ends.." she said with slight authority. " We will have to watch this ambassador, she is no fool. She is waiting for us to slip up and if we do, I fear there is no stopping her from ratting us out." Deawen laughed coldly at that. " If your majesty wishes it I will have my men watch her, descreetly of course." she didn't really need to bother asking she had already set up a series of spies, and watchmen around the fortress.

Eleniel walked over to the desk in her room and unrolled a blank scroll of paper which she had slotted into her belt. She flattened it onto the desk, picked up a quill and twisted the lid off her small pot of blue ink. Dipping the quill in, she wrote furiously onto the scroll, addressing the king...

King Elessar...
I have arrived safely and write to you to report all that I have discovered. The people of Angmar are planning something, though they hide it with false smiles and sweet words. Their queen is like a spider at the center of her web; the people of Gondor are the flies she wishes to trap. I pray to you, do not trust her, and do not make an alliance.

They will wish for war.

Eleniel.
