Alright!! So I got a response from Realyn and she's going to thailand soon and she'll be gone for two months. She said to start without her and someone can take her character.

Okay, starting!

Rain poured from the dark sky in heavy drops. Minas-Tirith was quiet in the evening storm and came from the South. Dark puddles accumulated in the white streets, nothing but the falling rain could be heard. No one was out in the storm, they were all safely inside their homes next to warm fire, with the execptioin of the guards of the Citidel who never left their post.

In the great throne room, Aragorn, Arwen, his steward, and advisors sat around a table in the corner by the great steps that led up to the great black stone chair in which usually sat the King of Gondor. A meeting had been called, as was called once a month, to help sort out matters about Gondor.

Meanwhile, the rest of the royal family and friends remained in the suites wing. Most bored silly from being kept inside by the rain. Two especially felt like they were being prisoned. One was Aragorn's youngest child, Realyn. The usually spunky girl ran around outside doing what she felt necessary, but not on this rainy day. The other was Eomer's middle daughter, Eonera. Being of Rohan, she was accustomed to open fields and warm wooden halls. The cramped cold stone of Minas-Tirith alone was unbearable for her, but being stuck inside was even worse.

The two, and a few others, hung about in a furnished lounge in the middle of the suite wing. Eonera sat on a bench, gazing out a Northward window, fiddling with copper locks.

Realyn paced back and forth on the floor in silence. Suddenly she stopped and stomped her foot.
"I can't take this. I need to go outside, even if I get wet!" she cried...

(hehe... hadn't meant for it to be so long... so sorry for that! I wanted to make it so that everybody sort of could find a way to start! I guess with the Aragorn group you'd just start making up small Gondorian problems, lol!)

Eowyn, sitting in the lounge with the two girls, dressed in plain white with a golden circlet round her forehead, smiled at the frustrated Raelyn. She was sitting here with them while her husband Faramir talked with the king and his advisors.
"It won't be for long," she said smoothly, kindly, "we can order in some food and wine while we wait." She sat back in her seat, looking out from a window.

"But I'm not hungry... It's been raining since noon. I'm tired of waiting for it to stop," Realyn replied, sitting heavily onto a cushioned chair.

Eonera inhaled deeply, and turned to them.
"Aunt Eowyn, is it alright if we go to the stable for awhile to wait? My Shadowmir isn't too fond of storms, so I can imagine he's probably very nervious and wants me there to comfort him," she asked sweetly. Though the part about Shadowmir being nervious during a storm was more of an excuse. The grey stallion was probably one of the bravest horses Eonera had ever met. And that was saying something concidering she came from Rohan...

"Well, you should find something to do while you wait," Eowyn said, turning to look at Realyn. "The rain will die down soon." Her smile turned towards her niece Eonera, guessing that the part about Shadowmir being frightened of the storm was an excuse to get away. "I doubt Shadowmir's scared at all," she said, "and your parents would not be pleased with me if they learnt I had let you out in the middle of this dreadful weather."

"But it's only a quick dash through the courtyard to the stable, and it's warm and dry in there," Eonera replied, giving a pleading smile to Eowyn.

Realyn sat there trying to think of what to do, then a thought came to her.
"And I'll go with Eonera, and we'll wear our cloaks."

Eowyn laughed. "Believe me, girls, I don't want to be stuck in here either," she said. "But like it or not, I'm your assigned childminder for now. Have a little patience, and everyone will be out soon." She rose from her seat and nodded her head to the view from the window. "You'll catch your death of cold, quick dash or not."

Eonera sighed in defeat, and turned back to her window. She propped her elbow up on the windowsill, and leaned her cheek in her palm.
"Alright, but what I don't understand is how you can live in this city. It's too hard and cold for my taste," she said. "And worse on a rainy day."

Realyn shrugged, and turned to Eonera.
"You get used to it I guess," then faced Eowyn again. "If we can't do that, can we spar or something?"
