Eowyn did answer the door. "Arwen!" She said, smiling. Then she saw Alythrya behind her. "Alythrya? Arwen, what did she do? Is everything alright?"

"Oh no, Eowyn, it is fine. But we do need to speak with you." She looked around, "Where is Farson?"

Arwen's smile left.

"Oh dear. Well, anyway." She glanced at Alythrya and her son, "I believe that my son has something to tell you..." At this Eldarion's face tuned somewhat pale, and it seemed that he and his mother were silently comunicating. Which, knowing them, they probably were. Eldarion looked at the floor and tried to find the words to say.

Alesana left once more for the home of Alithar. When she arrived, he met her at the door, his face drawn and gray.

She frowned lightly with concern. "What is it, Alithar?" she asked.

He took her by the shoulders and looked deeply into her eyes, tears spilling down his cheeks. "Jelisara died during the night."

Alesana felt her knees grow weak. She shook her head, and covered her mouth to keep from screaming. She glanced past him into the house. She hurried in, her head spinning, sobbing. She moved past Jelisara's brothers and parents to the body of her lifelong friend. She sank to her knees, and took a cold hand in hers. Her thin shoulders shook with her sobs. She felt Alithar's strong hands on her shoulders once more. She felt them jerk lightly with his own sobs.

After almost an hour, she regained control of herself, and stood shakily, breathing heavily, her eyes puffy and red, her cheeks and hair damp.

Alithar turned her to face him, brushing a lock of hair from her face. "Are you all right?"

She sighed. "I will be." she put her hands in his and glanced up once more. "There is talk of marriage in my home."

His eyes danced. "Do you think there is a chance that if I asked your father...he might permit us to marry?" he asked softly.

She nodded excitedly. "Would you ask him?"

"Of course." he said tenderly, and kissed her lightly. "Shall we go to you home now, then?"

She nodded, and waited for him to get his horse. As soon as they were both mounted, she lead the way to her home, Alithar just behind her. As they dismounted, Alesana felt her heart pounding. "Come, let us find him." she led him inside, searching for her father.

Raelyn looked at the two boys in her room. she watched as they talked and laughed at Ferson's face when he found out that his brother already knew about the love Eldairion and his sister shared. "you are always the last to know." she said to fearson.

Alesana hurried to her room and once more heard voices coming from her sister's. She glanced in, and then hurried on to her room, Alithar pausing in Raelyn's doorway.

Alesana sighed, and turned back. She took his hand and lead him away.

"Talking. What where you doing?" Elboron asked.

"Not my fault everyone seems to be acting suspicious today... or maybe it's late," Farson yawned, "I off to bed..." and with that, ran off, but didn't go to bed, instead he wondered back to his mother quarters. But when he saw Arwen, his sister, and Eldarion was there, he hid around the bend to listen to what they were saying...
