Luna held her arms as far our as she could with him restraining them, then brought her foot down hard on the instep of his foot. When his grip slackened just enough, she swiftly jabbed him in the side with her elbow, then grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him in a blur of motion. The way she held his arm would cause it to break if he tried to move it. Her other arm snaked around him, under his free arm and slipped up around the back of his head, barring him from making any movements.

(no prob!!)

As Sirel got closer, she could see Luna and Markus locked in combat. Luna appeared to be winning, and Sirel couldn't help but chuckle. She stayed at a distance, not wanting to distract them from their fight - although it looked like it was already drawing to a close.

Glad to have you back Gilhen :)

Marylyn hovered at the edge of the training camp, watching with anguished eyes as Luna got the better of her brother. He was always too confident in his skills. She knew it would be his downfall one day. It was such a waste of life. Did he not realise he could be doing so much better? Marylyn sighed heavily and then entered the training grounds. She bypassed the trio as they trained, glaring at Haldir as she passed. "Attention!" she snapped to her men, who fell into position immediately. "We have no time to waste! You need to be ready! Our race are depending on you!" She marched back and forth in front of her men. "Your archery training begins now. Follow me." She picked up her bow and quiver and left for the west.

Haldir shuddered. "Forgive her. She is under alot of strain..." he said watching as his wife departed the encampment. "Anyway...That was good. Luna you are very agile, something our enemy will not expect. I want you to continue with your hand to hand combat for this morning. You should try to impart your skills on eachother. Try and think like an orc. What would they do? What would they not expect? Speed and forward thinking are your best weapons." Haldir bowed his head to the duo and departed to train the cavalry of the army.

Markus' eyes had yet to narrow, stuck in a state of surprise. He had clearly underestimated Luna's Skills. He cleared his throat and shook himself out of her hold. He glanced in the direction Marylyn had disappeared and rolled his eyes. "Now...I have not had much experience with orcs, but I know they are pretty brainless and will go for the most obvious kill. In battle it is what we will all try to do, which makes us open to injury and death ourselves...." Markus paced for a moment, memories of his training with his former owner flooding his mind. "The trick is not to be firm footed, but loose and swift on your feet."

Sirel stepped out of the shadows and cleared her throat to catch Markus, Luna, and Haldir's attentions. "Is there room for a third person?" she asked. "I haven't trained in... well, far too long."

Luna nodded. "Yes, Siriel.." she looked down. "I apologize, Markus.." she shuffled her feet awkwardly.

Markus looked to Sirel. "I think we need all the help we can get..." He smiled faintly and then glanced to Luna, his brows raising at her apology. "There is nothing to apologise for my friend. That skill is amazing. We will need that."

Luna couldn't look at him. Instead she dipped in a quick curtsey then ran off to grab a sword. She found a training dummy and began hacking away at it, embarrassed.

Sirel raised an eyebrow as Luna began slicing at the dummy. She turned to Marcus. "So, what would you like to work on? I myself probably need some improvement on a few things, so I won't be the best teacher, but at least I'll be some help."

"Haldir told us to work on our hand to hand combat for the rest of the morning. He will return and give us something else to do this afternoon I assume." Markus rolled his eyes. He always found hand to hand combat so tedious. He hoped he would never have to use it when he came face to face with an orc. He would rather slice them and be done with it. "Would you like to help me work on my combat skills?" He asked Sirel politely. "What do you need help with?"

(*cackles* haha I actually know some hand to hand!)

"Combat skills sounds like a good choice," Sirel said with a grin, cracking her knuckles. "Myself, I need to improve my archery. It may surprise you to hear this, but I'm a terrible shot. Anyways, that can wait. We can work on hand-to-hand now. Shall we start with some simple moves or are you up for something a bit more advanced?"

Luna kept working on the dummy, not even noticing how much of it she had already chopped up. Her cheeks flamed red, embarrassed still.

Sirel looked over at Luna, noticing her apparent embaressment and the basically dismembered dummy. "Luna, would you like to join us? I'm sure you could give us both a few tips." Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at Markus, hoping he wouldn't mind.

"I am good with the basics. I need to learn some advanced skills...if you wouldn't mind sharing?" Markus asked Sirel, raising his brow. He followed her gaze to Luna. His expression turned quizzical. "Yes Luna, come join us. I think we can all learn a thing or two from each other. Lets make Haldir proud," he winked with a grin.

Luna flinched, but set her sword down and slowly, and timidly walked over. "Hand to hand?" she questioned quietly, looking at their feet.

Sirel chuckled. "Yes, Luna. Don't worry - in fact, out of all of us you have the least to worry about. You did splendidly earlier - maybe you could teach us some of your tactics?"

"T-t-teach?" Luna stuttered, looking up with wide eyes. "B-but..." she closed her mouth and swallowed hard. "I...guess..?"
