He smiled at her before taking his leave.
He wandered the streets for a while before he finally found the correct house.
He slowly walked up to the door and knocked three times, his hands near his swords should he need them.
The door creaked open and Niko took in the appearance of the man who answered it. He was middle aged, of average height, quite skinny and his face had a gaunt, almost starved look. He surveyed Niko through cold black eyes which seemed void of any emotion.
''Bob Ferny I assume, may I come in?''
''Who wants to know? and no you may not. You'd best leave before I get angry''
Niko paused for a second, slightly irked. ''You will keep away from money you do not earn. Furthermore you will stay away from the dress shop and especially the shopkeeper. Do I make myself clear?''
Ferny began to laugh '' Ah so it was he who put you up to this. He shall be punished.'' He made to close the door in Niko's face.
Realizing what was happening Niko forced the door open before closing it behind him.
He then shoved him against the wall and held him there.
''You will not harm him, nor exploit him any longer. If you even attempt to, I will return and I will do much worse. ''
He drew a sword and held it to his throat.
Ferny began to tremble ''Please forgive me, I will stop, I shall leave him be''
It was clear that he was frightened. A small man who preyed on the weak and those who would not resist.
''remember my words, and heed my warning'' He turned on his heel and left, leaving ferny in a ball on the floor crying and cursing.
Niko returned to the inn quickly and upon asking, he found his way to the room Nienna was in. He entered softly and saw her asleep. He sat down on the bed quietly next to her and began to watch her sleep, smiling at how peaceful she looked.

She slowly woke, feeling someone sit on the bed, she smiled as she knew it was Niko. A presence she knew well, and would know forever. She opened her eyes, smiling softly at him. "Niko." she whispered, laying her hand on his arm, carressing him lightly with her thumb. "I am glad you are back." she laid her head on her other arm.

Covering her hand with his he smiled at her, enjoying being with her again.
''Yes, love, I'm back. How did you sleep?''
He began to stroke her hair as he shifted slightly so he was closer to her.

"very well, thank you." she sat up, and put her arms around his shoulders, embracing him. She laid her head on his shoulder. She snickered suddenly, "Care for some ale?" she pointed at the bottle and two cups sitting on the bedside table. She knew what his answer would be.

''No thank you'' He stopped and then burst out laughing, ''need you even ask?'' he said, grinning at her.
He picked up the ale and poured them each a cup. He handed her one and took a drink from the other, almost draining it. He did love his ale.

When he said no, she looked at him with shock, then he started laughing, he poured the ale and she chuckled at his antics. She took the cup, and grinned at him "Next time I will just point and not ask." she laughed and sipped at her own ale, enjoying the warmth as it traveled down her throat.

He nodded in agreement, still smirking.
''How did you enjoy our day? I hope you liked the dress. I certainly did''
He smirked at her and drained his ale before pouring himself another.

"I loved our day." she grinned at him, laughing. "Oh? You liked it? I certainly couldn't tell..." she said in mock seriousness, tapping her chin with her finger. Then smiled and leaned in, pressing her lips lightly and breifly to his "I love the dress, darling. Thank you." she smiled, "and I have never liked a dress before, so that tells you something." she chuckled at his smirk, and drank more of her ale.

''It was very fitting for you'' he said with a laugh.
He returned her kiss, 'You're welcome. Yes indeed it does''
He put his arm around her, taking another drink of ale.

She sighed in contentment. She could spend eternity this way, lost within and endless reverie. She was at peace with him. She needed nothing else. No wealth or possessions could ever bring her happiness like he did. "You are amazing, you know that?" she gave his earlobe a quick and gentle tug.

He saw the way she looked at him and it brought him happiness.
He sighed,, ''Yes I know''
''You are quite amazing yourself. I have never felt for anyone the way I feel for you. You shall look stunning at the wedding, when I finally make you mine''

Her heart leapt at his words. "yours. I like that. And you shall be mine." She again studied his face, amazed that he would indeed be hers. How had she managed to earn the love of one so wonderful. "Le no an-uir nin?" she whispered to him, not wanting to break the peace of the moment.

He looked at her,how her eyes surveyed him his eyes filled with love. He remembered all they had been through together and his love for her filled his heart .Nodding slowly ''Mae'' he whispered to her, before pressing his lips to hers.

Hear heart leapt for joy, and her arms went around him holding him tighter to her. She kissed him back joyfully, knowing they both meant every word spoken.

He returned her hug, glad he made her so happy. It was all he wanted.
He slowly poured them both more ale.
''When would you like to get married?'' Any day she chose would suit him, there could not be a bad day for her to become his wife.

"Whenever you want to. Soon." she laughed at her two answers, and drank more ale, feeling her mind start to buzz. "of course, we need to find someone who can marry us." she hoped it would be soon. She would marry him in that moment if it was possible. She grinned and downed the rest of her ale.
