"Slave traders?" she was suddenly alarmed "Crixus...they may be after her. We need to hurry. if we get across the border to the ocean we can hide in the caves." she was frightened, if they were found out...

He nodded.
''We shall need to keep low and move as quickly as possible.''
Gathering their things, he turned and crouched.
''Let's go'' he said, beginning to move.

She motioned for the hobbit to follow, then reached out and grabbed Crixus's hand again, needing the touch as they moved. She stayed low, scared that she may trip and expose them all. Her eyes scanned the surrounding trees.

"What?!" Camomille whipserd, "what no! I can't go past the border, i have to go BACK! Back home!"

Crixus seemed to be thinking along similar lines.
While his one hand clutched hers the other went around her waist and held her closer, ready to catch her should she stumble. He shot her a grimace, she was clumsy.
He turned to the hobbit and whispered.
''You will not get the chance if you are caught. First we must evade them, then you may think about other things.'' His tone was gentle yet firm.
They could not stand there arguing, the needed to find shelter.

She was grateful for his arm around her waist. "He is right. You will get home, but please focus on staying safe now." she walked a bit closer to Crixus, hearing a noise in the woods.

"You are cra-" a sound in the wood's cut her off and she darted after them.

They all moved quicker as they heard sounds not too far off.
He clutched Eonwe to him, making sure she did not make any sounds to give them away. He also made sure to keep the hobbit in his sights, just in case.

She knew he held her closer only to make sure she did not trip, yet she felt a different comfort from it. They moved quickly, and soon the sounds faded behind them, yet Eonwe could not find it easy to breathe yet. They were not completely out of danger. They continued to move, and Eonwe also watched the hobbit last.

Camomille gulped as she tiptoed through the woods after them. She hugged herself with her arms to keep warm, and to comfort herself. "Do you think they're gone?" She whisperd.

Crixus turned slowly and scanned the horizon. It seemed they had lost them, the had left the noise of pursuit far behind them. He still held on to Eonwe, just to be sure. He whispered.
''It would seem so, let us keep moving until we reach the safety of the caves''

She nodded "He is right, even of they are gone for now they may not be in a while." they continued on, and she looked apologetically at the hobbit "I'm so sorry for what has happened to you." she whispered, knowing what it felt like. She stumbled, grateful for Crixus's arm keeping her up.

They moved faster until at last they came to their destination. He hardly dared believe it.
''How did you know?'' he asked Eonwe, bemused.
He led them into an ample sized cave and sat down, glad to be in a sheltered place.

How had she known? "I...don't..." she settled down on the ground, and tried to set her back on the stony walk, but hissed and quickly leaned forward as the rocky wall cut into her already sore wounds. She buried her head in her knees, knowing she had a slight fever. Her wounds burned. She had guess that dirt had gotten into them. She said nothing, just sat, willing the pain to go away.

"Thank you." Camomille said softly, as she sat down. "Oh, you're hurt!" Camomille noted as the woman sat down. The hobbit nelt down next to her and gently moved her shoulder to the side with small hands. "I have some bandages." Camomille offerd helpfully. She pulled them out of her ink pouch, along with some tea. "If we boil some water, we can make tea and tend your wounds." she looked back and forth between the two humans. Having something to do calmed her.

"No, I am quite alright." she was getting dizzy,The fever was worse from the lash wounds being fully infected now, and a sweat broke on her forehead. "can't...build a fire...too...risky." she was having trouble speaking, hopefully Crixus would only think it was her stuttering.
