Turwaithiel went over to stand beside Gandalf, though she did not break the silence. She looked out, her keen eyes seeing what many could not. She saw the mountains along the bordor, dark and filled with death. She feared for the young hobbit which she heard Gandalf talking about either with another hobbit, whom's name was Pippin.

Rienna hesitated in front of Shadowfax's stall, and then decided that he would likely follow hr, and needed no halter. Fastenign a bridle to her own horse, and saddling it just in case, she opened the door to Shadowfax's stall and he did, indeed, follow the young woman and her horse back to the elf and Gandalf. Rienna emerged, panting, from the stairwell, having climbed the long slope multiple times that day, and looked around until she spotted the pair, standing and looking over into Mordor.

As Rienna approached, Turwaithiel smiled as she saw her tire. She untied an flask from her belt and said, "Drink this. Going up and down is hard work, this will help with your energy and quince your thrist." She offered.

"Oh, no, thank you, I'm fine," said shy Rienna, politely declining. She smiled. "One must get used to stairs, living here."

Turwaithiel didn't put it back though. "One also must live in order to get use to them. Give it to the horses then. They must hate the climb." Turwaithiel walked back over near Gandalf.

Rienna accepted the small flask and gave it to her horse, who was aging and gratefully slurped the drink, and offered it to Shadowfax, though he semed perfectly sound and not at all fatigued from the climb.

Gandalf turned to see that Shadowfax and Rienna and her horse had arrived.
"So you have come, my old friend." He said calmly to the large white horse that stood before him.
"I thank you Rienna." he said, then turning to her. "I must, now tell Pippin Took of a little task that he must complete. You may join me if you wish." He then finished.

Turwaithiel followed Gandalf, smiling. She walked beside him, but on the other side of Shadowfax. She placed her hand on his mane as they walked. "Pippin?" She questioned, "The hobbit friend of the ringbearer?"

Rienna listened, confused. "Hobbits?"she said, the word strange in her mouth. "I have not heard of these before...where are they from?"

Turwaithiel turned, smiling. "They are like small children to your eyes. From the east, I believe. I meet Pippin before, but only an brief hello."

Rienna raised her eyebrows. "Hm," was all she said, wondering about the merits of a people who were so small. Though I am not one to judge, she thought, since I really know very little.

Turwaithiel looked at the soilders at there post, preparing for battle. Most looked scared and some where too young to be soilder's. She sighed heavily as she heard the clouds rumble low.

"Yes, that hobbit is the same that you speak. Hobbits dwell in what they call the Shire. They are a special race that is peace and ale loving. No matter their size however, they have done the largest of deeds. Come." Gandalf moved swiftly through the stone streets of the White city and to the door that stood before Pippins housing.

Rienna followed, curious about these 'hobbits'. She wanted to know more - but what else was new? Rienna always wanted to know more.

Gandalf did not wait for the hobbit to answer the door, instead he opened it himself letting everyone inside. (well besides the horses.) "Took!?" he asked raiseing his voice slightly until the hobbit came out. "Come with us." Gandalf finished.

Turwaithiel stayed out with the horses while Rienna and Gandalf entered. She patted Shadowfax's mane before she looked around. Many men where looking at her strangly. Like the gaurds, most looked at her with distaste, but some smiled and nodded thankfully to her. She smiled a those and ave them greeting as she waited for the Took to come out.
