He smiled sheepishly. "I sound like a woman.." He chuckled faintly. "How about this...you, me, Carter, mother and a priest on some beautiful beach and an after party when we get back...maybe here or at home."

She leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Perfect." she leaned back and looked at him for a while. "Of course, you will not be allowed to see me before the wedding."

Thrill grimaced. "I despise that rule. I guess we need all the luck in the world though," he chuckled. "Considering what we've both been through." He kissed Callie tenderly on the lips, his thumb stroking the back of her hand.

"Luck? I just wanted to see your face as I walked towards you." she winked and kissed him back, smiling against his mouth. "I do not know what you are saying about luck." she said, cheekily.

Thoril simply snickered. "I cannot wait to be known as your husband. To have you by my side, as my wife would be a dream come true." He kissed her again, not wanting to be apart from her. His hand ran through her hair, drawing her close, as he kissed her deeply.

A surge of pride flowed through her veins as she let him draw her closer and kiss her. To be known as a part of his wife would be an honor. Not because of his fame, but because of who he was. Because he was honorable, caring, kind...everything she had ever wanted. Her hand caressed the side of his face as she returned his deep kiss lovingly.

Thoril could not help, but smile as he kissed her. He was no sooner standing, then he moved to sit beside her, his arms enveloping as he continued to kiss her. "I love you more than you will ever know," he whispered against her lips. He could not believe it, he found everything he was looking for when he didn't even know he was looking for it. Callie simply swept him of his feet, and continued to do so with every single look she gave him. She was strong, kind and caring. He would stay awake just to listen to her gentle voice. She was absolutely everything to him.

"Thoril..." she shoved her fingers into his hair and pulled him into a deep kiss. "I love you. More than anything." she whispered, running her hands along his chiseled jaw line. "You have my life, you seemto bey very soul now.."

"You have my heart, my soul and life. I am forever yours," he whispered again, his lips barely leaving hers. His hands ran up her back drawing her closer. He lost his hands in the tangles of her warm hair. His eyes closed savouring the sweet moment.

She shivered from the goosebumps that suddenly ran along her skin. She kept her eyes closed as well, just taking on everything about him. His scent that she knew would always bring her comfort, his hands that would hold her, everything...she sighed into the kiss, placing a warm hand on the side of his neck.

The sound of someone clearing their throat, pulled Thoril away from Callie. His cheeks blushed brightly. "I'm sorry...I guess I got carried away." He ventured to lean in towards her. His eyes were no longer meeting hers, but were boring into eyes so similar.
Frera stood at the back door, hands on her hips. "If you wanted time to yourselves..." she huffed. "All you needed to do was say, not try and set me up..." Frera slammed the back door and stormed into the kitchen, throwing the plates rashly into the sink with loud clatters emitting around her.

Callie flinched and looked down. "You should probably go talk to her..." she said quietly. That was not a happy woman that Callie had just seen.

Thoril frowned deeply, nodding at Callie's observation. "This is not going to be good," he drew himself from his seat and stepped inside. "Ma' ma, please listen. I didn't want to upset you. I didn't want time alone with Callie's. Well I did," he scratched the back of his neck nervously. "I only wanted to make you happy. I can see how lonely you are." "No one will ever replace your father! No one can ever live up to the man that loved me all these years." Thoril softened. "Father would not want you to go through life alone. Carter and dad were friends. He knew Carter was a good man. It would not hurt him if you moved on." Frera's eyes burned with tears. "Move on from your father? How can I?" Thoril remained silent as he took his mother into his arms and let her cry out her grief.

Callie sat awkwardly as she stared at the closed door. She grew fidgety. She heard Frera's raised voice, then the sound of crying and she flinched. This was their time...she stood and began walking.

"I cannot even...begin...t...to think about replacing your father. I don't want to Thoril. He was my life, my world...my everything. Carter is a wonderful man and was amazing when we were younger, but your father swept me of my feet...and I haven't finished falling yet. I don't want your father to think I didn't love him...I don't want him to think he didn't mean anything to me...I...." she cried into her sons shoulder.
Thoril glanced over his shoulder, growing slightly impatient and uncomfortable. "Mother...you are being silly. I am sure Carter is happy to take things at the pace you want to. He is no fool to believe that you are over father. No one would ever expect you to be either. You have to move on with your life though. You cannot spend it alone. I don't want you to...and I am sure father wouldn't want you to either. Callie and I meant no offence when we did what we did. We just wanted to see you happy."
Frera gathered herself and stepped back from her son, wiping her eyes on her sleeve. "I know that..." She whispered. "I know that," she said more firmly. "I'm sorry...I don't know what came over me just there...I should go and apologise to Callie...God knows what she must think of me..." Frera walked to the door and opened it. "Callie?"

Callie was in the town square. It was growing cool out as the sun sunk behind the mountains. She looked around the recovering city, wondering at the damage and horrors that had happened there. It was sad, she could practically feel the lost lives there.
