Both Arinae's brows raised and she laughed suddenly. "You seem to have buried your head in books too long, Milord... Preparations for a feast would have been made long beforehand, for such things are not a last minute event, but..." She paused, gave a wave of her hand and smiled, "I shall not pry so much into the private matters of my King and your King alike.... Though I am sure there is more behind this than a feast..." She had not forgotten the strange inquiring words he had spoken to her earlier, but it would have to wait.

Rinkemen nodded grimly. She knew something was up.
"Very well. Anyway, Rowen, Radiel we have to begin packing. We will be leaving here soon."

So Arinae had been right..
Liran nodded to Rowen and offered her his forgiveness as well. It was good to know she finally had realized what she'd been doing. He smiled to her.
They talked shortly, and he added some words of his own to Arinae's story, but then an older fellow arrived. One who, Liran quickly decided, was not very nice. You could just see the tension in the air, between him and the girls. He remained quiet and observed. There was definitely some funny business going on here. He took mental notes of everything he noticed, as he usually did, when he sensed something was afoot.

Rowen, filled with relief at Alyan's response, was slow to notice the tension, but at the sound of her name she turned and immediate wished she hadn't. Rinkemen was standing not four feet away, talking to Radiel, and it was evident that he had noticed her.
Hoping that if she kept quiet, Rinkemen wouldn't pay much attention to her, Rowen observed in apprehensive and embarassed silence. She respected the older man and hated the thought of him being angry with her.
As Radiel and Rowen walked down the street, towards their respective houses, Rowen spoke up.
"Radiel...why DID you leave? Why is Rinkemen here? I don't understand, what's going on? And why shouldn't we talk with Airain?"

Radiel frowned and shrugged. Usually she'd be a mistress in avoiding conversation she did not want to have, but that ability of hers was no where near. She turned to cast a glance at the others, who were slowly disappearing within the crowd of people, but then turned back to the road infront of her.
"I don't know how to explain," she started. "Rinkemen will not have me tell everyone, but..." she stopped and looked at her friend; "something is clearly afoot. I doubt, however, that even the King of Rohan knows what."

Rinkemen turned back to look at them as he lead them to their house. He glared at Radiel then turned back to the path.
"Why can't everyone just listen to what I say?"
He muttered to himself and shook his head.
The aged man and the two girls apprached the house and Rinkemen opened the door.
"Radiel get packing, Rowen you'll just have to wait for her. I'm not letting either of you out of my sight."

"Worse than my parents..." Radiel muttered under her breath as she went inside; glaring at Rinkemen who held the door as she entered. She went to the room where she had slept many nights, grabbed her bag and threw in the little spare clothes she had brought with her. She also checked the content of the small leather bag, nodded, and hid it well yet again. As she had finished, she threw herself upon the comfortable bed and let out a deep sigh.

"You are, your parents must be worried sick. I am taking you both back to Minas tirith, where you belong. As soon as Radiel is ready we shall gather your things."
He began walking toward Radiel's room and walked inside.

Radiel rose from the bed and grabbed her bag. She went out of her room without a word, having only her eyes show emotions. Whenever she looked at her teacher, it was with a shown glare.

As the three left Arinae and Liran, she turned slightly with a raised brow towards Liran. "And what might you have made out of that? He seems far less pleasant to travel with than Rowen was... I feel sorry for the girls... " She glanced forward again, staring down the road after them with a pondering expression. "Strange..."

Rinkemen rolled his eyes and sighed. He pulled Radiel into another room and sat her on a chair after closing the door.
"Radiel..."
He rubbed his eyes and sighed heavily.
"Look I don't mean to be such an orge figure, but you must understand I have been under a lot of pressure. I have spent countless hours reading book after book. Radiel you know what we may face? A new threat to the peace our king and king Eomer worked for. You can be annoyed at me all you want but please try to understand I'm trying to do the best for you and Rowen."

"And who are you to know what is best for us?" Radiel had always been stubborn when it came to her atittude, and now was definitely not an exception.

He leaned closer to her and took a very stern tone.
"I have seen more death and destruction then any man should. I fought outside the Black Gates and I saw the face's of evil. Now we have a new threat, hoping to topel all we have worked for. I think I know where I would want to be."
He leaned back.
"Now you can either come with me to the safest place in Middle Earth or you can stay here and keep your parents wondering whether you are alive or not.

Radiel sighed and the glare finally vanished. She looked away to escape her teacher's gaze. A gaze that indeed showed sign of life experience. She decided not to reply, however, for for once, she had nothing say. Radiel sat with her arms crossed, listening to the noise of the awkward silence. Finally she broke it with simple words:
"May I leave now?"

He opened the door and gathered his pack, quickly shoving the books in to help his investigation. He walked up to Rowen and slung his pack over his back.
"Well Rowen, if you could show us to your house and you can gather your things."
