"Good." he rasped, glaring at them both before he warily stood. He kept his sword in hand. "I was merely passing through when I saw you both here, and curiosity got the better of me. I am searching for someone, currently, and these were his last known whereabouts." he said quickly, brusquely. "I just do not like to be seen or threatened. Being one with the darkness has always been the way I travel, that way I avoid most of the undesirable company I see along the way."

Marylyn scrambled out from under him, casting the dirt from her to ground. "Now...wasn't that easier? Couldn't you have just led with that? Then we wouldn't have had to go to all this trouble. Heck, for all you know we could have seen this guy. Could have helped you..." Her eyes fell to her sword, she reached down to pick it up.

"If you had seen him you would be dead." he sneered, not bothering to put his sword away, still tense.

"Maybe not," Nessa said, condenscendingly. She crossed over to Nesselde, trying hard not to throttle the man. I hope they don't expect me to help him. She really disliked him. "Now your name, sir." she said with overdone courtesy.

Marylyn raised her brows. "I find it very rude of you to doubt all our skills. You do not know any of us. You do not know what we can or cannot do."

"I know that you cannot survive him. No one has. He has killed countless people. I am alive only because I have not faced him yet." he snapped, peeved at the nagging, irritating women.

Marylyn recoiled from the mans tone. "I get the picture," she rolled her eyes with a sigh. "Maybe we can help?" she offered, regaining her composure.

There went her hope of not helping. "We should at least wait for the EYES." she muttered under her breath.

"No. I won't place anyone else in harm's way." he growled. "That is plain stupidity on my part."

Marylyn's brow creased with worry. "That is a heavy burden for you to carry." Could this be right? Was she feeling compassion for the man, who just moments ago, held a knife to her throat. Marylyn shook herself, stepping back.

Nesselde kept her mouth shut. She didn't want to help this man. She had been looking for the EYES, wasn't sure anymore...That had been Tal's quest.

Nessa saw a glint of light behind the man. "Tawry?" she asked, smiling.
"Yes?" Tawry answered.
" I saw you," Nessa rushed to meet the man stepping out of the trees.
"Hmm, better catch up on my skills, huh?"
"Yes, yes you should,"
"Nesselde, Marylyn, this is Tawry. He is on the EYE force. And this," Nessa indicated the man. "is a man who will not tell us his name."
