The returned and he closed the door behind them, taking a glance to check there was no one following them, which there wasn't.
He indicated to the bed, ''You may sit, if you wish.''
Pouring himself a small cup of water he drained it in one gulp, before pouring another and offering it to her.
Crixus joined her and sat beside her on the bed, his gaze on the floor, unsure of what to say.

"No, thank you." she wasn't thirsty, but she sat on the bed, and felt it, amazed at it's softness. She didn't know what to say either, and her eyes remained locked on her hands that lay in her lap. She was in a tough situation, she could leave and gain riches, respect and power. But, at the same time, she had no desire for riches or power, or anything that went with it. Life was easier and more simple without those things making everything complicated.

He sat with her for a time, both lost in their own thoughts before Crixus finally broke the silence.
''Thank you'' he said. ''For your company'' It had been too long since he had sat with anyone, not talking of blood or battle in the arena. A simple conversation was a new concept to him.
He smiled at her, looking slightly strained as if his face muscles were not use to the action.

She looked at him, a soft look on her face. "You're welcome. I enjoy your company too." she reached out to pat his shoulder again, but snatched her hand away as she remembered he did not like being touched. "Is there anything I can do for you?" perhaps she could help him with something, it would be her pleasure if she could.

He shook his head.
''You could leave. Accompany me away from this place'' he spoke almost disbelievingly, doubting she would oblige.
He noted how she reached to him, then moved backwards.Crixus sat slightly closer to her, their shoulders now slightly touching.

"leave? You wish to leave?" she stopped and swallowed as she felt him sit closer. This was odd for him to do. "I thought you wished to stay?" she was distracted from her words. Why was she distracted, she searched her brain. There was no logical reason for her to be distracted. Her eyebrows furrowed together slightly. why on this great earth was she so distracted?

''I wish to live. My end at this house would be my death. I have seen all there is to see here. I wish to leave, before I regret anything.''
He stopped speaking. It was true. He would miss out on so much. He would never be a father, never have a family, even friends were scarce enough as it was. It was inevitable at some point he would lose a match and die.
''Before I meet my end I wish to live my life absent a master''

She nodded slowly, and turned her head. "I shall leave. Yet I do not want to return to Rohan. Royal things...are just too complicated." she shrugged, then froze as her shoulder brushed hard against his from the movement. "When should we leave?"

He stiffened as her shoulder pressed harder against his, completely out of his element, yet he did not shy away as he had done before.
''We may leave with the she-elf and her companion.I doubt Abrax shall wake any time before midday tomorrow''
He had just referred to his master by name, something considered insolent by lords and such. Yet he had no love for his master, especially after seeing how cruel he could be to those not in his favor. He was reminded of the whipping she had endured.
''Why did you lie for me?'' he asked.

She nodded "I think you are right." she felt his discomfort and looked to move away just a bit, but realized the headboard was there. She managed maybe a half inch before she was trapped, ten answered his question. "Because I wanted to. I did not want you to receive a flogging for nothing."

He looked at her as she answered his question. She had endured a flogging, when she could have just as easily not spoken and let him suffer.
He reached out a trembling hand to cover hers.
''I am grateful. Thank you.''

She blinked then stared at his hand as it covered hers, then looked up "You're welcome..." she was once again held by the sadness in his eyes. "I am glad you did not get it." she smiled softly.

''You did not deserve it''
For once he looked at her as he spoke, holding her gaze. The feeling of her hand under his was new to him.
Spurred on by some unknown force, he leant towards her and kissed her, his mind blank.

She blinked, her eyes wide, then she realized she enjoyed it. She closed her eyes and returned his kiss. This was entirely new to her. She had never been kissed before. Not thinking, she entwined her fingers with his.

He opened his eyes as he realized what it was he was doing. Breaking the kiss he shifted away from her slightly, not able to look her in the eyes.
''Apologies. '', fearing he had overstepped his mark. He was to busy panicking to realize that she had enjoyed it and returned the kiss. He had enjoyed it.
He was slightly scared of what she might do next.

She blinked when he broke the kiss, then he moved away. "No! Please...don't be sorry." without thinking, and wanting the enjoyment it brought her, she reached for him and kissed him again. She did not know how he would respond, yet, right now she was not worried about it.
