[i]Elwen cursed inwardly as her captors bound her hands and relieved her of her weapons, pushing her towards Arandil and Aerin. Now the only one free was Silmeriel, and she could do little against so many enemies. She hoped the ranger would not attempt anything rash; if all of them were captured the small hope they had left would be completely gone.
She was shoved down hard by the two easterlings who had caught her. As soon as they turned their backs she shifted closer to Aerin.
She saw the easterlings still scanning the brush, a score at the least. They evidently knew or suspected that there was another.
Silmeriel saw them, sweeping the brush methodically. She could either stay and be captured, or make her way through the tree branches and find her rangers and eventually save the others. She chose the latter, and crept off quietly, away from the Easterlings.
Naur cursed under his breath in the tongue of the East… Knowing that they were wasting time they did not have.
Before he could respond however, a voice called out for them to halt from somewhere in the dark.
“Please… We must go before it is too late.“ Naur whispered as he unsheathed his sword. Just as he did so, a lantern had been lit and a figure could be seen approaching them. He too had his weapon drawn.
“Malrid will be fine.â€

It was only a short time before the Easterlings gave up their search and prepared to take their new captives back to the camp. Elwen found herself dragged to her feet, and she didn't resist; there was little point in struggling. They might as well save their strength.
The camp wasn't far, and it came into sight in the space of just a few minutes.

Aérin looked upon the camp with interest rather than fear... It wasn't exactly the rescue he had invisioned but nonetheless he had little doubt they would break out. The easterlings had been far too lax so far, only Aérin's absent mindedness had failed the company. Now Aérin was focused, his mind intent on escaping.
He was fully aware of Silmeriel's escape... He knew the other rangers were only a day's travel behind soon the rangers would come down upon the installation. It was only a matter of sitting the next few hours out.
His only doubt was the whereabouts of Alaria, Agrim and Malrid... part of him hoped they had escaped, but another part of him hoped they were still here. He dearly wanted to see them again.
Aérin dragged his feet as he was being marshalled toward the camp. Deliberately he was farthest back in line, being ushered forward by a rough looking easterling. After a slight nudge, Aérin stumbled to the ground his ring into the soil in a instant. It pained him to be parted of the amulet of his past but Silmeriel would need guidance as to their whereabouts.

Silmeriel's Rangers swiftly worked their way through the forest, silent as Wraiths
ooc: on second thought, due to the screaming horses, perhaps that's not such a good comparison. Let me change that.
Silmeriel's Rangers swiftly worked their way through the forest, silent as shadows. They left no mark of their prescence as they drew nearer and nearer to the camp. It would only be a few hours now.
The hours passed quickly, and soon they had almost reached the Easterling camp. A small flash in the dirt caught Silmeriel's eye, and she reached down to pull out Aerin's ring. Securing it in her leather pouch, she was glad for the reassurance that she was coming in the right direction. She halted her Rangers and turned to them.
ooc: How many Rangers are there supposed to be? The next part involves my splitting them up, so I need to know.

Malrid lay in his cold cell for hours. His body was bloody and beaten. He could hardly move after the asault. He heard footsteps of the guard returning to his cell. Malrid curled up in an attempt to protect himself. The door swung open. The same guard entered with a bigger grin upon his face.
"I just heard that you'll be geting some company."
He laughed a little and slammed the door. Malrid thought to the company he left behind.
"Aérin"
He whispered.

ooc: never mind, I'll make it up and adjust it later.
ic: Silmeriel turned to the Rangers. "Vernace, take ten and come in from the south. Roridath, take ten and come in from the east. Laridan, take five and distract them. Make noise, draw some of them out of the camp. I'll take the remaining fifteen and come in from the west. If I've guessed correctly, there's about 80 Easterlings in the camp. Yes, we're outnumbered, but Laridan, your group should be of help. When you're in position, the falcons will let me know." She released Toria and Leisa, who took off, circling above the trees. "They'll see you. All set? Good, then move out." The Rangers slid off silently, waiting for the signal from Silmeriel, who was waiting for the right moment from what she saw of the camp. Her hand slipped down and touched the amulet, and she smiled slightly. It would be good to have her friends back.

Alaria faced Agrim as he spoke, then turned back to Naur. She thought for a while, Naur and Agrim waiting impatiently for her to speak. Finally she did so. "I... I have to find my brother. I have to find Arandil and the rest of the Fellowship. I cannot bear it in my heart any longer, I have to know that they are safe. I have to find them..." She trailed off. And Aérin, she thought.
She then continued. "Whether if you decide to accompany me or not, I have decided to go back to Mirkwood."

((ladyofthewood, post ur charry in the character thread before continuing please
Silmeriel... nothing wrong with the numbers.. jsut take a little consideration to the geography... not really possible for any men to attack from the north at the camp is up against the mountains.))
Aérin, Elwen and Arandil were led along the dark rocky expanse like lambs to the slaughter, tumbled and dragged along, tripping over every slight upturn in the tracks until eventually they came upto the main installation. The first thing Aérin became aware of was the size of the camp and how much it had been underestimated. Even from his first glances he had made out at least 60 soldiers, and that wasn't including the men that would be undoubtedly stationed within the catacomblike structure the easterlings had fashioned out for themselves.
Dread took Aérin's mind... if Silmeriel was planning anything, she'd need help...

Elurin lead his large black steed silently through the woods. He heard a twig snap, and halted. Someone was ahead of him. He glanced back at his partner, a she-elf, and signaled her to halt.
"Hold Sereg for me, Lithoniel."
He handed her the horses reins and silently crept forward. Being an Elf, he was silent and was quickly behind a tree spying on the small army. Upon hearing there plans, he stepped out from behind the tree, and approached. He held up his hands to show he was unarmed.
Hail Master Horseman!"
He called, and than bowed.
"You are planning to attack the Easterling raid, are you not? That was my intentions aswell, and I would like to ask if it was alright if me and my partner, an Elf as well, could join you?"
He asked. He knew that they wanted to kill the Easterlings... as well as he and Lithoniel did... and he was pretty sure the Horselords would let them join their group. They'd want all the help they could get.</center>[/s]
