Mia ran up to Robert. She checked his pulse but she knew he was dead. She used a special container that Marshall had gave her to store a certain amount of blood from the dead man. It would keep until they got back to L.A.

The smile that lit her fair face greeted this mortal man. The divinity she once grasped soon left to take his hand.

Sydney saw Kiminu drop something when her shot hit him in the leg. She walked over to see what it was and saw a blank piece of paper, but not just any paper, the document.

Kali ran after Sark and Kiminu, but stopped, because they had gotten away. She sighed and leaned her head down, catching her breath, before she ran back into the house through the safe.
"They got away." Kali said, sighing.
"What's that?" Kali asked, looking at the piece of paper in Syd's hand.

"I think it's the document." Sydney told Kali. "Kiminu dropped it when my bullet hit him."

"Let me see it." Kali said, holding out her hand. Sydney handed her the document and Kali looked at it.
"I don't know. We can't be sure. We'll have to expose it to the Elixir to make sure it is the Rambaldi document. Let's hope that Hatchway's blood is still good, even after he's died." Kali said, handing Sydney the document back. Carly told Sloane over the comm. what had happened and what they believed to be the document was in their possession. Sloane told them to make their way back to APO, where they would have Marshall analyze the document and pour the Elixer over it to see if it was the 'one'.

After arriving back at APO, Carly and Kali had given the document to Marshall so he could research it.

About an hour had passed before Sloane told the team they could go home, Marshall would analyze the document over night. Then suddenly, when they were prepared to leave, a large group of men and women entered APO with director Chase in front of them. Sloane walked out to director Chase and asked what was going on.
"They're DSR. The CIA must have told them about APO, I don't know how they found out about the Rambaldi document, but they want it now." Chase said.
"Marshall hasn't even begun analyzing it yet." Jack said.
"I know. But I have no authority against this. They're going to take it whether we want them to or not." Chase said, before leaving. Kali looked up as she saw the group, she could already tell that the group was the Department of Special Research, even before Chase had said anything about it. Kali walked into Marshall's office.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"They're taking the document." Marshall said.
"What?! They can't do that. You haven't even analyzed that yet, we have to find out what it says!" Sydney said, walking into Marshall's office too.
"I know." Marshall sighed. Kali could tell he had really wanted to analyze it. Sloane walked into Marshall’s office with them.
"DSR wants us all to stay here, so they can question us about how you came to find the document. The liaison to DSR is in my office, she’ll be here for a few days as DSR examines the document." Sloane said, leading all the five agents into his office to talk to the liaison.

Carly walked in and she nodded to the woman. Sydney and Nadia did the same.

Kali walked into Sloane's office where the liaison was waiting, she took a seat with Sydney, Mia, Nadia, and Carly.
"Hello." She said, motioning for the others who were still standing to take a seat.
"I'm Amy Rohner. The liaison to DSR. I'll be at APO for a while, and for the moment could one of you give me an account of what exactly happened at.." Rohner paused for a moment looking down at a sheet.
"Robert Hatchway's house?" She asked.

Carly spoke up, "We were told to go to Hatchway's office to stop Sark and Kiminu from getting Hatchway and to retrieve the document. When we arrived there, they had already reached the place. We split up, Mia and Sydney goiing upstairs, and the three of us downstairs. The latter found the two, and shot at them. We heard the gunshots and ran downstairs, but Sark had killed Hatchway already. They managed to escape, but Sydney had shot Kiminu in the leg, causing him to drop the document. We came home afterwards.."

She looked at the woman, waiting for the reply.

"Did any of you bother to go after this...Mr. Sark?" She said, looking down at a sheet. Kali rolled her eyes; this woman obviously had no clue about the players in The Mercenaries organization.
"And a Mr. Kiminu?" She finished.
"Yes. I immediately chased after them once they tried to escape, but I was too late, they had already gotten far, and they had gotten into a car and left." Kali said.
"And you didn't think about getting into the car and chasing after them?" Rohner asked. Kali was rather annoyed now, and none of the other five seemed to like Rohner that much either.
"As I said, they had already gotten rather far. If I had gotten into a car and chased after them I still would have ended up empty handed. They were already gone." Kali said. Rohner nodded her head, in annoyance.
"You were however able to get Mr. Hatchway's blood?" Rohner asked.

"Yes we were." Mia said, "I drew isome of it out, putting it in a container, and when we got back we gave it to Marshall.."

"And now it is our possession. Yes. All right. You may leave the office, however, I'm afraid you're going to have to stay at APO for a while, until I straighten everything out. Because I am going to have more questions for you." Rohner said, as the five left the office. Kali sighed and took a seat at her computer. Rohner came out of Sloane's office and went over to Carly.
"Agent..Murcek? Am I right?" She asked.

"Yes, you're correct, Ms. Rohner.." Carly said.

"Would you mind telling me about some of the players in The Mercenaries organization? Like.." She looked down at her sheet.
"A Mr. Kiminu?" She asked.

She nodded and said, "His full name is Sean KIminu, and he is the kingpin of the Mercinaries. We don't know about his childhood as well, but we do know that he was in prision from age 23 to age 30, and he escaped...that's all I can tell you right now."
