Anakin still sat at the table as Padme escorted Jena and Eljaraj out the door. He was just finishing his pear. His eyes seemed to be glued on to her. He thought as he ate, Beautiful...

She quietly went her room and let her hair down. As she did so a plan formulated in Padme's mind. She quickly changed into a nightgown and put a robe over her and crept back out. Obi-Wan had gone downstairs to check the security so the senator went over to Anakin. "I have an idea on how you can catch the assassin."

As Padme went to her room, Anakin stood up from the table. He walked over to a window thinking of many things, one of these things were of his mother. Where was she? How is she? These thoughts ran through his mind, but they were broken as he heard Padme's voice from behind him. He met her face, "Catch the assassin....tell me more." He seemed quite interested in this.

Padme made a stubborn expression and shook her head. "Of course not." The siege on Theed had cured her of getting scarred easily and besides, Yoda had given her a lightsaber incase she needed to use one.

Anakin seemed to grow another two inches at the end of Padme's comment. He rubbed her shoulder and said, "Of course I will protect you." He gazed upon her like one who gazes upon gold.
