The chancellor was pleased. Things were
going well here for him. He could feel Anakin's anger
going up.
"Yes, of course..." he said nodding his head and turning
off into another room.
"But the Jedi will never trust you with that knowledge, or to be on the council-as long as they know you can come to overpower them."

Anakin followed him with an angered face, "Answer my question." He tried to use the Jedi mind trick on Palaptine as he motioned his hand.

Palpatine noticed the wave of Anakin's hand.
He let out an evil smerk. "Haven't I just told
that I know superior ways of the force? Your Jedi mind tricks cannot work on me young Skywalker."
He looked at Anakin seriously,
his glance focused.
"I would have thought that I
wouldn't have to answer the question for you.
Surely you're smart enough to figure it out for
yourself."

Anakin's eyes glared at him. They held no expression, nor did his face. He then walked to stand infront of the Chancellor. "I would say you would be a Jedi." He then whispered to himself, "But I sense something more."

Anakin was confused, and that angered him deep inside. His eyes then narrowed towards Palpatine, feeling his thoughts and said, "You know of the darkside?" His voice rang with an evil tone.

In an instant Anakin's blue saber was activated. "You're the Sith lord!" His voice was powerful and he wasn't fooling around. He was staring intently at Palpatine, with a harsh look in his eyes.

Palpatine began circling the room, in a slow walk.
"I suspected you would be the one to discover it." he said with a sigh.
"How powerful arcan the Jedi masters really be, when they couldn't
realized it themselves."
His eyes wandred towards the ceiling and down the the floor, and a look of
sarcastic dissapointment swept over his face. "After all this time..."

(Well, wait till Anakin pledges himself to Palaptine's teachings if you're going with that...)
Anakin didn't say another word. He swept behind Palpatine and held the saber not to far from his head. It hummed as it remained in its position.

"I know." said the Sith. "I can feel your anger. IT gives you focus, makes you stronger." He wanted to make sure he stressed the word.
He stared back at the young Jedi intently.
"You want more-I can feel it.
You want more power."
He stopped pacing and looked at Anakin seriously, and deeply. "Join me Anakin, let me teach you the ways ofthe dark side of the force, and you will become more powerful than you can imagine."

Anakin still held the icey glare that was burning in his eyes as he circled around Palaptine like a vulture circles around it's dinner, "You're wrong!"
