Anakin looked off to the side to where she was walking. He reluctantly said, "Yes...I was." His head then drifted to look in front of him.

At this Anakin's jaw tightened. He hated when others bossed him around. "Whatever you say...." He turned his head in her direction again and said in an overexaggerated tone, "M'Lady."

Eva looked over to him, her jaw having been long tightened, with her eyes narrowed microscopically. She wasn't going to let him treat her like that Padme he was in love with. She sped up. "You forget," she said, "That not only was I an assistant tactician to Master Agna, <i>which</i>, by the way, gives me authority now as tactician, but that I also speak the native language here." She stepped onto a bridge.

She did have a point, but Anakin did not show it in his face. His face did not even flinch at what she said. He followed her onto the bridge, "Lead the way...M'Lady." He knew he was probably going to make her explode, but Anakin always took a risk.

Anakin was now caught up with her steps. When she stopped suddenly he by accidently bumped hard into her back.

Eva made a face and said, "Ow.." silently so that no one even heard it, then asked, "Do you feel that?"
They all did. It was a familiar disturbance in the Force. She looked down. The river.....the <i>river!</i> She was found by a rivershore! (Her tongue liked to say "lakeshore" more, and at the time she hadn't thought that details really mattered.) She ran across the bridge and down to the bank.

Eva hurried down to the bank. There were still minute marks on the shore from the commotion. She looked around, then squinted at the ground. She suddenly hurried over to a spot a little ways down the river, crouching when she got there and picking something out of the sand.

Anakin stood there looking almost faint as Eva picked up a bracelet from the river. "That's, that's impossible!" He said. He ran over to where Eva was and snatched up the bracelet that was in her hand. He examined it very closely.
